For while I thought filmfare was pretty credible untill 2010 when they give award to srk for mnik instead of salman khan for dabangg..

This time around they will give it to shahid because aamir doesn't attend awards..if he did and host the damn thing.. He would have won it a few times now..

Priyanka is hard working n versatile but geeez awards r not everything...she needs more of a life outside work!

Only people who want to play dress up, get their pictures taken for visibility purposes, sit on bikes and do some 'live' acting go to these awards 😆 Good for her that she at least didn't go this year, because the PK team clearly isn't thirsting for awards and she would stick out like a sore thumb with that being the only release she had in 2014. I'm sure with a whole bunch of movies coming this year though, she'll be at the next round of awards.

About the topic: surprised that this is something that still needs to be questioned. It's been long established that awards are essentially equivalent to 'be there or perform and receive something'...those who stay away actually end up looking better.

Everyone knows who actually deserves the awards and who doesn't. Even the actors themselves who win. It's all over their face when it genuinely means something to them and when it doesn't. There's nothing wrong with being excited for awards, especially if you have actually put your best foot forward and worked very hard for it that specific year..everyone wants recognition for their hard work.

It's when you know you haven't done much, but need to be given the award just so your ego can be stroked that you end up looking like a fool and giving the awards a bad name.

I'm surprised PK has been underrepresented at some awards..but I'm also glad that they haven't ignored the better made films of the year like Queen (haven't seen Ankhon Dekhi), just b/c PK made much more money.

Ye because he was more popular and deserved it esp this year in that category, but he as told some where he hosts or dances not to give, and in case they do give he dont go on stage to receive it. So reason probably even he were clear cut winner why guve him when he wont even goto receive it.regardless in popular or entertaining he deserved it!! ..so ye people would not complain in that category...

But you are wrong he as won other awards esp in popular ...and with dabangg 1 it was critics mainly..but popular he has..anyhow this year he deserved popular agin but i think most award shows who he host or dance dont give as they know he wont go on stage to receive them, but that dont change the matter that he deserved it!!

Yes they lost it completely.

Just a tamasha now. People watch it for just timepass just as they watch Bigg Boss. Everyone knows they are not there to honour true merit.
