This year there were some good films like Queen, PK, Haider etc...In any other year PK would have swept the awards...it has been the biggest hit of the year with box office success, critical acclaim and some great performances too esp aamir and direction by Hirani! How can they not award PK anything? Shahid deserves the award too but it's a shame he is winning it at a time when the awards don't mean much anymore IMO. Esp when they are handing out awards to the stars of HNY!😆

What is the future of bollywood awards? 😭

they gave award to DP over Kangana🤢
i mean i like dp but hny was not her best work at all. kangana deserved it.

award functions are now trp making shows...with some bakwas jokes and lame acts...

rarely the deserving nominee gets the award

won't be surprised if FF have disaster winners too like the screen awards...seems like theres just too much politics involved in these awards now...

why has SRK fallen to this level that he wants awards for HNY in a year where there was PK and haider both with strong make performances?

I don't think even the stars take these seriously. If they do it's just to feed their insecure ego (PC). Only deserving ones are Shahid and Tabu. And Alia.

At the end of the day these awards are meant to entertain and get good TRP on TV.

Also this year..the reason why they seem like a joke is because the best actresses don't deserve winning: DP and PC.

While in the past we had Vidya (Paa, Ishqiya) , Kareena (JWM) and PC (fashion) winning for actually giving the best performance of the year. They didn't win by default unlike this year. So that's what makes it seem like a joke this year. And plus we have Srk and Farah winning so that also adds to the circus.

critics awards are main awards in screen .The winners are totally deserving imo .Only popular awards looks blah .

Yes it's lost it's credibility for sure. I use to be so exciting and actually an achievement when the actors win. But no one seems to care this year. Feel sad for Shahid winning this year when the awards have become a joke. He still deserves the win..don't get me wrong.
