That (2+2)!=5
For Indians: Not all Pakistanis are bad, Ex Sarfaraz in #PKTheFilm. Don't judge a person for his religion, country, color, race. Try to know him first.

For Pakistanis: Not all Indians think ill about Pakistanis. Ex RajKumarHirani and Abhijat Joshi.

For all religious believers: Every religion tells us to be "good" humans. If you say that you believe in God/Allah/Buddha/Krishna then you must follow their teachings. You being a true Hindu/Muslim/Buddhist is in the mind(the way you think) and not in the act. You can say a lot of mantras, you can donate alot of money in temples, you can pour infinite litre of milk for shiv puja. But if are not a good human even God/Allah/Buddha/Krishna can't help you.
That Babba in the film is not a true Hindu, because if he was, he would equally respect other religions. He won't judge a person(Sarfaraz) for being from a certain country(in this case Pakistan) or for believing in some religion other than Hindu(In this case Muslim).

For Human Beings: It's the mind which sees, the mind that creates.

For Everyone(including me): Make an effort to change, change for better.

if they (director and Amir Khan) make a movie on muzzies.. with funny parallels to mohammad, paedophilic mullahs, marriage on puberty, polygamy, burqas and triple talaq, both of them will be killed in 10 days. Remember what happened to that French director who made a movie or docu ? They will never dare to make a muzzie movie like how they made PK.

http://5forty3.in/2014/12/pk-why-is-hinduism-a-blot-on-the-idea-of-india/

Finally, a movie where the protagonist doesn't play the character of an action hero who can beat up dozens of men single handedly or pretends like the last man left on the earth who can romance a women. But
Kinda hypocritical with anti Hindu and pro Pak sentiments. Why wouldn't they let a Pakistani girl fall in love with Indian guy or project the underlying issues of terrorism in the name of god in the Muslims?

Ranbir Kapoor makes a late cameo in the movie. A sequel on cards?

Is Aamir Khan trying to be Mr Bean in PK?

Mr Perfectionist's character PK reminds us of Mr Bean. Here's why: Not only Khan's expressions are weird in the teaser video but the B-town hunk also has his big eyes and ears just like Mr Bean. In fact, AK even flaunts them in the video. But the similarity between Aamir's onscreen avatar and Rowan Atkinson's popular onscreen character doesn't end here.

In the PK teaser, Kiran Rao's hubby doesn't speak at all. He only talks through his actions. Well, if you have watched the Hollywood flick Mr Bean then you'll know what exactly we are talking about. However, for those who haven't, in Mr Bean even Rowan Atkinson has hardly any dialogues. He communicates mostly through his actions.

Even the slapstick comedy that you see in the PK teaser is somewhat like what you would get to see in 1997 Hollywood film Bean or 2007 film Mr Bean's Holiday.

Despite so many similarities, we are pretty sure there is more to Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming film PK. But for now, its hard to not notice the resemblance between PK and Mr Bean.

Having said that, I enjoyed PK.

Lol!! In the same boat here. I enjoyed seeing it on screen and a theater full of people enjoying the very things thst bothered me about organized religion since I learned how to think. I hope ppl who are blind faith followers see the film and question themselves. I have a feeling the most blinded ones will choose to keep their eyes closed and still say my religion is better than yours.

It doesn't target any religion. Hinduism was picked as the main one because India is dominantly Hindu. It is saying the same about all organized religion and their preachers. Is it that hard to get?

If in PK, the other religion's malpractices were shown as well then do you think Hinduism would have been glorified or the malpractices of Hinduisms would have been washed away?

Their is aproverb right Charity begins at home
same way reformation begins with us
Even Reformers in old times Raja Ram Mohan Roy started with targetting malpractises of Hinduism ,
And in a country with majority hindus they need to start with them as simple as that and they did show that religion is nothing but fancy dress competition which itself shows they targetted all religion
And even at end bomb blast showed how ppl are killing in name of religion and god but als ppl refuse to see that and only speak about targetting hinduism which they didnot do t

Nope.. but is it to say that by singling out Hinduism 'a comparatively peaceful religion' & tactfully avoiding some of the problematic religions & their teachings (as seems to be the case here) is indeed justified ??... And please nobody here is asking for "glorifying" Hinduism & as a Hindu i am least bothered with such "glorification" , i know very well what i stand for , i dont need PK's stamp of approval for that.. 😆..but if i get a whiff of my beliefs being mocked , dont expect me to just standby..lol.. and most if not all of my replies are purely based on the posts here , i have absolutely nothing against PK whatsoever at this point..

If anything, I got the message that God does indeed exists and we don't need anyone or anything to find that God. God is not biased so that only certain people can contact him...if he has made everyone equally, then won't he be available to everyone equally too?

Then why do we need to listen to a God man or a seer or astrologer to communicate with God? Why do we need to go a particular place of worship to find God, if he is omnipresent?

At the same time, if anyone finds solace in a temple or at a Church, there is nothing wrong with it. If anyone finds courage listening to a God man speak a few words of religion, then again there is nothing wrong with it.

But to assume, that the only way to reach out to God is through ritual worship, or going to a temple or doing a namaz or praying at the altar is demeaning that very stature of God.

The film questions our approach to God, it does not question the existence of God. It questions the way humans have interpreted religion to suit their needs, it doesn't mock the very presence of religion.
