u can see the result at this point- an over-budgeted, messed-up, postponed film which has a good risk of flopping...god knows if it will even release in may, 2015.

BMB worked out well for all parties.

As for BV, Viacom already backed out and Anurag was given only 40 cr budget before RK came on board. Most actors have taken a paycut and 75% of the budget went to for production values. Couldn't have made period film with 40 cr. We'll know how it has turned out when film releases. AK has been happy how it has turned out and said Ranbir has been extraordinary. He also left DDD which went to Ranveer.

ya, but see that's the point. this is one movie where i had wanted ranveer to essay the role because he has that dark, edgy intensity in his eyes and method acting. DDD should have been done by RK. that was tailor made for RK.
Saying that, i would also like to say that i am happy it went to Ranbir. Because i would have skipped the movie altogether if it had gone to any other actor. on the good side, i will get to see ranbir in a different genre as i am getting tired of his coming of the age movies

What's with an article every day, 'won't work with so and so'.. milking the Khans' for publicity..

Edit: That makes it both Anurag K and Vishal B who won't work with Aamir and can't/don't work with SRK.

not interested in interaction with u, although if i m right, we both are hardcore srk fans 😆
because my message doesn't seem to glorify Ranveer. you took it in a negative way.
and i don't like it when ppl make comments just for the sake of it.
i said there is tendency in the industry to pick actors on the basis of boxoffice pull, this ruins many movies in future... if some movie fits srk, give it to him... if others fit sallu, give it to him.. and so on and so forth is my viewpoint...
i only argue with ppl i know.. like scorpio, db, and few others 😆 becoz they bring logic to their sentences.
If Ranveer was involved with BV it would have been HE------ that's a presumptious, no logic, unreasonable speculation from your side in light of the fact Ranveer is not even in the movie but Ranbir is...i can sepculate on ranbir n BV... Ranveer and BV speculation doesn't make sense at this point in terms of boxoffice..
And if u r gonna start the convo with such a sentence, not gonna work with me😊

but OTT, it's just i m disappointed that ranveer who had read the script, liked it , wanted to do it...couldnt do it because of monetary issues... Anurag Kashyap should have kept it for a year and now any producer would have funded it..
There for sure is a reason, why he went to aamir first, then ranveer.. probably he knows the characterization better than any of us n which actor suited the role... frankly, the film is getting made on the 3rd choice... obviously, for a moviegoer like me, it's not a good feeling...

it's the same with udta punjab, parneeti kciked out, alia coming on for her boxoffice pull... parineeti was a punjabi and the director sure must have taken her for some reason...

these monetary things always affect the film casting which is not good.
