Basic Plot
Most of the movie is mixed with the dance steps which will make your head spin. Movie starts with the introduction of college graduate-but-jobless Chandramohan Sharma, who is also knows as Charlie, (Khan) who is nursing deep wounds. His father (Anupam Kher), who runs a business creating sturdy lockers, is cheated by an evil businessman Charan Grover (Jackie Shroff) and hurtled off to jail for a robbery which he didn't commit. Sharukh's idyllic life is destroyed and he dreams of bringing down Grover. An opportunity presents itself when Grover declares on television that he's the custodian of precious diamonds worth billions of rupees. It's an invitation that will tempt any robber-hopeful and Charlie jumps in to it like challenge accepted. He puts together a team that's far from suave.
Songs and Dance :
Farah graduated from being a choreographer to a director, so she's all about songs and dance. Every mood finds a song, and every expression a dance move. Her Happy New Year', however, is her weakest dance link, or should we say the "worst" yet. Inexcusable when the story revolves around a "world dance championship". The soundtrack is loud and techno but low on rhythm. So, when the crowd starts pelting her "team India" with inglorious words and rotten veggies you sense their pain.
