I do Salman! I much rather watch you play a Tere Naam or a HDCCS anyday...too much of these masala films become so repetitive IMO.

Phir milengey was shilpa shetty movie where he did an extended cameo.
Jai ho was masala movie.
so he's logic is absurd.
he should try it now.

I don't think he is a darpok...otherwise he wouldn't be working with new directors right from the start. Sooraj was a first time director, followed by SLB, followed by Abhinav Kashyap and many more!

Yes he needs to do different films or he would look stale. In my opinion he is already doing that...not totally offbeat but slightly different than what we see him in now. Films like PRDP, Shuddhi or even Kabirs film (Gone with the wind type). He is slightly deviating now and if those films work, he might deviate some more.

People reject his off-beat movies coz he does not has required acting skill to justify the character.

And why us srk going masala route? Why he pick HNY? And Salman does what he likes not scared!! And his impression is based on what his audience in INDIA wants not abroad( as most who abroad say he should do this and that!! Anyways on paper Salmans upcoming movies are diverse !!
