I really want Salman to do a few performance oriented roles. Not just all the action and stuff. The movies he is talking about didn't have good scripts so didn't do well. ETT targeted both !! And this movie is said to be something new and knowing kabir he's a great director who targets class and mass , this is one director I'm happy he's as a close association too!! Prdp lets see how prem is accepted as Thdt movie is geared to all generations and I'm awaiting sultan too !!

Salman U are Salman Khan yaar !! U will always be accepted even in offbeat roles as well .

no he dont mean it that way exactly, had one seen the live telecast would know he explained that he tried to put a msg but at the same time added too much violence then just spreading a message he mentioned Phir milegne (which would be unique as it was a serious movie and here he played a pt having HIV but the movie did not work, same with khamoshi..here he played characters ..anyhow this came up because dr cabbie as an unusual plot..and they asked him could you see yourself doing such Roles and he replied maybe some years back pre dabanng says but not now as he since then as an image that's larger then life!! ..and that's how most see him, that's his perception based on what movies have worked !!

As long as they entertain me I will watch Salman movies

But if they are some rona dona crap and theres no enjoyment in them then its like watching a damn documentary 😆😆. Cough (Swades, Guzarish,) Cough 😳😳

Thats just my distorted view on cinema 😊😊

Thanks for the answer. But I think now he should have the best phase to make some off beat films too cause he had so many blockbusters back to back. He could have done easily 1-2 small films in between to satisfy some fans AND himself also as an actor (like Aamir, Ranbir, Emraan,..). Of course box office is important, but you shouldn't ALWAYS aim to beat your last record every year. Its not JUST all about that. It can't & shouldn't be. After years no one will talk about these blockbuster but small films or surprise hits like The Lunchbox, Kahaani, Mardaani, Lootera, Paa, Queen, Shanghai, Nokj, OMG, Taare Zameen Par and so on will be talked.
