Damn, u missed the point! 6 years old shud look around whoz gonna rape him/her? R u gonna ruin his/her childhood for that?

Its the parents who shud be aware of that!

The messiah Aamir had a workshop for child molestation issue on SMJ.. and he was teaching
them.. only ur parents can touch ur danger areas. Now that same Aamir is showing his danger areas covered by radio.. for the same kids.. and i cant even out laugh emoticon here.

All that for just a freaking stpd movie? Promotion?

nowadays parents don't even teach their children to say "thank you" & "sorry" and you want them to talk with their kids about rape? I don't think showing the risks will ruin their childhood...I actually think it's the opposite.. it will save them.

Kids should not be watching rape scenes. Full stop. There are better ways to educate kids instead of making them watch disturbing, bone-chilling stuff that scare the living piss out of even adults.

I hope Sony stops airing crime patrol during day time. Some episodes of that Webbed are also disturbing.

Don't act like you care for kids.

That Gumraah show too dealt with teen crimes. If censor thinks it's ok for tv which has far greater reach to show such scenes in the name of awareness than Rani do have a point- U/A certificate for teens above 12 shouldn't be a big deal breaker.

It's all in the details. As a concept, Children should be made aware of the trafficking and dangers of it. But there is absolutely no need to expose them to graphic rape scenes or abusive language. That's a big No-No.
It's like showing po*n for sex education.

Rani is appealing that the movie should be allowed to children above 12 years of age. I don't see anything wrong in that, rather that is the age when girls should be made aware of such dangerous things happening around them. And parents are there to decide whether they feel the movie is suitable for child viewing or not, the censor board can certify that children watch the film under adult supervision.

12 year olds are still kids and not mature enough to see movies like Mardani or Lakshmi. In fact Nagesh had mentioned that he had cast an older girl(20+) for the 14 year old girl since he did not want to expose a young child actor to those horrors. There should be other means to teach a child about appropriate touches and these movies are definitely not those means. Would you let your 6 yr old daughter or niece watch this movie.

Pretentious much , Aamir?. If you can host a show on Child Sex Abuse and air it on prime time than why turn this movie down? Both are raising important questions and raising awareness. Sensitive yes but necessary too.

Mardani maybe a bit violent or the language at times can be crass, yet the message is super powerful and needs to be heard, seen and understood by every age-group. Especially considering the increase in crime , more so for juvenile cases. If children can watch a crime-based serials , listen to regressive songs than where is the harm in watching this move which might make them aware of a topic which incidentally revolves around them too?

Quit monopolizing the moral compass for the entire Bollywood.

Word.

The subject of Mardaani is mature and it does have uncomfortable scenes. It maybe unsuitable for very small children. But I think all parents should be having a talk about sex trafficking and sexual abuse with their kids. Mardaani is a film that can serve as a conversation starter for families.

I think parents instead of Aamir Khan can decide what is suitable for their kids. Even Sesame Street has had episodes on AIDS and abuse. The criminals are not going to spare kids because they are too young.
