Raja Natwarlal starring Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Malick is released all across India today. Film has taken slow start at ticket counters on 1st day and it is little surprising considering Emraan Hashmi has good fan following. Seems film buzz is low, plus music was average which has impacted on the film business. Still these are early days as today is working day and hope film picks up on later part of the day as weekend is approaching. Raja Natwarlal has managed good screen count which is a positive for it and has potential.
Raja Natwarlal has opened to 25% in Delhi and Gurgaon in Morning shows. Occupancy in Mumbai is around 20-25% which is also on lower side. Overall film occupancy for Morning shows is in the range of 20-25%. Single Screen is just about to start and hope that film takes better opening there than Multiplexes.
Emraan Hashmi last few releases have been below par and looks like it has affected his new release also. Otherwise film should have taken better start on first day. His films generally opens well in single screen and let's wait for the report from there which is just about started.
Overall looking at early start trends, film will depend on content power and if it is good then expect business to see growth on Saturday and Sunday.
Occupancy for Morning Shows -
Delhi - 25%
Gurgaon - 25%
Mumbai - 20-25%

Raja Natwarlal had a below the mark opening generally of around 25% but Mumbai circuit was better as there was a local holiday for Ganesh Chaturthi. There is a holiday in Maharashtra and Gujarat as well as a few other places and Raja Natwarlal managed decent collections in Gujarat due to this. Nizam normally opens better for Emraan Hashmi films but a big Telugu film opened huge which meant that became film was first choice in the circuit.

The response in other places like Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan or West Bengal was not up to the mark. East Punjab ahd competition from a big Punjabi release Double Di Trouble release but that did not open too well.

The film may have a decent first day number in Mumbai but other circuits will need to grow as the day progresses. The Emraan Hashmi starrers which have opened well like a Raaz 3, Jannat 2 or Murder 2 have all been sequels with hit music which was not the case here so it becomes a case of trying to score on word of mouth.

rating -3/5 .nothing new in the story mixtures of few movies .movie starts little slowly as songs r there in early portion movie picks up the pace after the murder of emraan friend raghav{deepak tijori}story may not be new but flim keeps u engaging throughout due to excellent work done by emran .he has acted really well .well supported by paresh rawel and kaykay kay menon they were good too..
not a perfect movie but definately a decent watch.
