Even BOI pointed about why Jai ho didn't open well, said one of the main reason was production value.

Yea It looked really cheap. Dhoom3 had a bad script but it's production value was really good. It's just not about content but how presentable the film is. Kick production value was ultimate(according to Bw standards)

If anyone has to blame for low performance of Jai Ho, it should be Salman Khan only. He selected Stalin to be remade, while i have seen many saying in forum as Stalin was panned by critics as well as was disaster in South.

He was very much over-confident on himself as fans will float this to BlockBuster level & Salman sold Jai Ho to super HIGH prices for distributors. He knew it was a Message oriented film, hardly has any Dhinka Chika flavor for fans, any romantic angle... so what was he hoping? He disappointed fans when he gave them a film just based on 1 message which was overflow in film.

He should have sold Jai Ho to normal prices, as this kind of films only work if WOM is strong, also he added Action in this film for fans, which was mis-match with the theme of film. Either make Jai Ho full fledge commercial Masala entertainer, or don't project it as Message film.

Even Distributors were Blind when they bought Jai Ho for such high prices, if they would have not blindly put their bet on Salman's Star power, they won't have suffered the losses. But they have earned in 2/3 times more their investment in all Salman's last 5 BB, so 1 low return of Jai Ho won't have affected them, now with KICK all losses of Jai Ho is gained.

Sajid tried to make kick the utimate Salman movie by spending lots of money on production values,songs,locations,costumes etc while Sohail thought -' Bhai its my turn after Arbaaz and Atul'

That's y Kick is lagging behind Dhoom 3 😆 Also BodyGuard / Dabangg 2 are BlockBusters, at least they were not Lazy enough not to promote / give Salman's film a better release date which Sajid messed up big time.

Kick would have been Biggest film if Sajid won't have saved money from promotions & also not given the Ramzaan release date. It is very easy to bash Salman's brothers / relatives while if u see Salman's 2 biggest Releases ETT / KICK landed on Ramzaan dates are ending up at No.2. While Dabangg when came made Salman Khan back in game & back on BlockBuster spree which only Arbaaz brought to Salman.

Salman has given way more big Disaster/Flops than just Sohail's films, Arbaaz given as a producer 1 ATBB (Dabangg) & 1 BB (Dabangg 2)... Still will be bashed just coz they are his brothers by even Salman fans 😆

What was Yuvvraaj? Big Director, Big Music Director, Big Production house? Oscar Winner apna Rahman gave the music, never seen him been bashed for it?

I hope Salman never do a film with Sohail/Arbaaz or even Atul now, more than Salman haters, his own fans bash them for no reason 😆
