I actually don't know the answer to that.. I don't know how salmans recent movies did that much business.. With the exception of the dabangg.. All his other movies are just bad..even kick was a cluster mug... Beginning was the middle... Middle was the ending.. Ending was the start of the movie..it was distracting...

EXACTLY..

all his recent bb's..
no big banners
nothing
no A-lister actress..

nothing!

Just the MAN himself..Salman Khan..
he's a Brand.

Jai ho made 100 crore I guess and that's just due to Sallu star power else the movie was worth Rs. 2

Back then, all sorts of excuses were made when Jai Ho tanked, but now the entire credit is being solely attributed to Salman, yeh na insaafi kyun? 😆

^^ Even KRK is a brand now . His crass humor is copied and entertains certain sections. He got a role in an A-list move coz oh his "brand" . Yes Salman plays a big role in his movie's success , rightly so the guy has been doing this thing for 20 odd years. But there are others factors too which contributes to him movie's success. Strategic solo releases, music and IMO no script . whenever he tries to think too much- say Jai Ho, we know what happens. Let him play himself and enjoy the ride.

okay so now u will compare KRK's 2rupees act in Ek Villain to Salman Khan's Stardom?

Any filmmaker can give KRK a 2 second role in their film so KRK talks good about the film on his twitter page and that's exactly what the makers of Ek Villain wanted. That KRK labels Ek Villain as a world class film.

People who take KRK seriously shouldn't be taken seriously.

Comparing a 2 rupees freak to Salman Khan's stardom..what bullshit.

Even I follow krk but do i consider him anything ??? NO.

@MPK - Read again , i said brand is pretty generic terms and usually even people with crass humor like KRK can work and establish their own brand. I didn't compere his 2bit role with Salman.

See you don't like him yet you follow him, so he gotta have something thats clicking with you. Just for the record , I don't like either of them.

It is Salman Khan's stardom that he plays himself on the big screen and pulls crowd.

This proves people are CRAZY about SALMAN KHAN the MAN HIMSELF.

people go in theatres to watch HIM.

otherwise kick's poor promotion, i had doubts this film will cross life time 150. poor promotion. releasing first look a month b4 release LOL. music 3 weeks before release . LOL

Salman doesn't need OTT PROMOTION. 👏 < proven with Kick's Blockbuster Status.

but while SRK and Aamir release their posters 6 months early 🤣 ..
salman is the biggest superstar this country will EVER HAVE. HNY music already leaked 😆

Salman Khan is untouchable.
