@CarrotCake: Okay, I see what you were trying to say in your earlier post, I didn't get it before, sorry. Now I do.

I haven't watched Ek Villian but I did read I Saw the Devil plot on wikipedia (I watch very few South Korean movies, mostly watch Asian dramas) and decided not to watch EV. It's not my kind of movie.

I guess giving negative characters a back story makes them more human to the audience and its easy to see them as a person rather than someone that only exists on paper.

SRK couldn't have raped Juhi in the end even when she was alone...because in his twisted mind he LOVED Juhi and he couldn't have hurt her by raping her...that part was portrayed correctly...and Shahrukh was so amazing in that movie...that every one else paled in front of him...Yashi ji didn't have to do anything...

Hindi cinema and tv have always portrayed stalking as an acceptable thing. In this one the illness was present so that's how they justified it. 😕

I don't know where Karan or Megha , Debu, Ricky, Aish, Priya...all these Shahrukh fans are ...I haven't seen them in months now...they all have disappeared just like that😕
