Vivek O did try to help Aish, look what happened to him. She never backed him up and stood up for herself.

Vivek got the backlash for helping Aish and she was the one who benefitted more, while Vivek lost his shining career.

Better to support privately.

I can understand the question being asked to SRK as he was somewhere in the stadium that day but not to Salman.

Regarding the answers they gave, it is i their typical style. One is more eloquent and the other tries to be more soft and does his jig to divert attention..

And why should they get involved in public spats? Don't remember very verbal support from any of the divas when these guys were in trouble.

This question is quite quite interesting. One incident of SRK where he did right thing by taking stand against shivsena , I think preity openly support him on that time.

Preity Zinta breaks silence by supporting Shahrukh Khan on a controversy that broke out recently when Shiv Sena"s news publication 'Daily Saamana" claimed that Shahrukh has no grief over the lives lost in the 26/11 blasts, which were carried out by terrorist from across the border (Pakistan) when SRK gave a statement that Pakistani players should be included in IPL teams. Preity exclaims, "Shahrukh is the most secular and fair guy I know. I think it"s unfair to judge his movie based on his opinions." The controversy has led Shiv Sainiks" burn the hoardings/posters of My Name s Khan across the Mumbai city. It will be interesting to see how SRK, renowned for maintaining public-relations, will tackle the situation. And also, by how far is Ms. Zinta correct with her statements on Shahrukh Khan.

If he can stand up for Suraj Pancholi then why not Preity?!

Who cares if anyone believes him or not or what anyone says.

As a country if India really wants to respect and value women we should show it through our own actions by standing up for them instead of just preaching 'respect women everyone'. No harm in pointing out when someone is wrong because only then we can change.

I am hoping the footage comes out or something and he talks about it.

y not preity i dnt have answer y and he can support whatever he wants i think he shud tweet 1 line tho but what ever he done in that trailer launch it was only good for him for sure

i think this matter is still at a very vulnerable and a premature stage...its better not to speak anyhting abt it...and these journos wants to get their "roji roti" by asking dsse stars abt dese thigs.. indian media is soo pathetic...

btwn preity needs moral support now and not public..this matter has been handed over to the police and everyhting will be decided based on deir investigation... how will da stars supprt/comment in public help preity,i dnt undertand...😕

I said this before and I'll say again. None of her friends are publically gonna support her, not a single one. Privatey, maybe a few but honestly BW friendships are uber fickle and we see it time and time again. The only ones that get public support are Sanju Baba and Salman...none of the other women ever did and in this industry they probably never will. The fact that we had a BI yesterday on Sajid and his molesation charges speaks volumes.

Like I said, if PZ had an Ambani surname, a Kapoor surname or a Bachchan surname, she def get loads of public support.

And I understand PZ doesn't need public support--she's a strong woman with a lot of balls. But I personall think BW stars--the influential ones standing up for women in thier own workplace sends out a strong public message. And it wouldn't hurt PZ's morale if she recieved more positive encouragement but her twitter was flooded with disrespectful, distasteful comments on her character.
