When a movie is made there is not just the producers ...but a lot of people whose efforts and money is at stake...it was not SRK's personal thing...think of it as the work in the office getting disrupted everyday...what is anyone supposed to do...there were news of SRK trying to sort things out...trying to calm down Salman...but at the end of the day it was between Aish and Salman...and she was leaving the shootings and going away with him...I don't understand why SRK should take the blame for throwing her out
And SRK has talked about this incident quite a few times. He was the only one who was sticking up for Ash at that time. But the fact that Ash wasn't showing up to the shoots herself or not stopping Salman's violent visits was not helping in any way. He had two other producers with him who had as much right to make the decisions as him. And in the end, they did. He had to take the blame and Ash's wrath for quite some years.
I'll make it clear. I still feel what he did was wrong. He should have fought harder. And Ash did not deserve to be thrown out of that film. But over the years, with other details coming in, I also understand that SRK TRIED to do something atleast. He broke up quite a few fights between Salman and Ash himself. But he wasn't supposed to be handling their mess during that film. Also, he has apologized to her like a million times both publicly and personally. He has clarified that he was completely at fault. If a man is willing to admit his mistake and ask for forgiveness, then I'm good with it. Even Ash has commented many a times how Gauri and SRK have apologized for that incident.
And the fact that Ash forgave him, which she has not for Salman, Vivek or even Rani, says a lot about what might have happened on that set.
