Vivek got the backlash for helping Aish and she was the one who benefitted more, while Vivek lost his shining career.

Better to support privately.

Yet she stayed with him for 2 years after that even though she never told him to do so. And afterwards, he went on a massive and embarrassing apologizing spree that made him look like a fool. I would respect him more if he stuck with his guns instead of flip-flopping once things on the professional end got tough.

Aish also lost out on a lot for those few years before she and Abhi started dating. Basically, boycotted from big banners. But it's all easy to forget that b/c she's a bachchan now.

I mean, Preity shouldn't expect any kind of help from him.😆

I used to think the same until I read in quite a few articles that SRK asked Aishwarya to stay on the sets but she left in an effort to calm Salman down. I think if Ash had not left SRK might have had a word with Salman or thrown him off the sets, if worse came to worse.

SRK loves money too much to care about 'friends in BW' and wasn't Chalte Chalte his first production? When you open a new business it requires a lot of strength, not just financial but emotional too as you have to prepare yourself for failure. I think SRK would have done something had Ash stayed on the sets but she left.

Also, I think SRK's response was better than anyone else's so far. I have read so many on this forum say 'let the justice system handle it' when it comes to other ongoing or previous legal cases. Isn't that what SRK said?

I am not questioning Preity's statement. It requires a lot from a woman to file such a case with the police, what with all the backlash and underhanded comments that are thrown at her especially in our Desi community. But, SRK wasn't there, was he? It's not like he is a witness to the whole thing that happened between Preity and Ness.

I think, at this time being neutral is the best. Why cloud people's opinions on a case that is to be dealt with legally. Is there jury system in India or is it bench-system (judge hears both sides, and gives a verdict)? If former, then if SRK is to side with either Ness or Preity he'd be clouding potential jury members opinions. He is famous, known throughout the country and people pay attention to famous people.

Moral support? Well you know I know it's traumatizing, and everything else, but yet... Aish hardly raised her voice against salman really, then how could have srk supported her? SRK was on good terms with salman too(that's wrong of him, being friends with such a person is indeed very wrong), so what could have he done in that matter. He couldn't have stopped salman coming and doing drama on the sets, because he's his friend, aish could have stopped him, it's bcz of her he did all this drama, if she would had been bothered by salman's tantrums and visits, she should have gone to police and said something. But she didn't. What could have srk done...kept her in the movie, while both continue aish and salman continue their real life drama, and latkao the movie beech mein?

P.S. You know I'm all in the thought of moral support and all, and it's traumatizing to be oppressed in a hierarchy like this, however, in these cases I do say, if you don't raise your voice, then you deserve it. Every sort of oppression needs to be stopped and if victims don't speak out, they are the bigger problem then the perpetrators.

Moral support is not given by giving out bytes to the media. It is given to the person who needs the support.

Edit:Both Salman and SRK should not have been asked this questions. The media has already made this about what SRK and Salman said on the case. Those journalists are idiots. WTH does it matter what SRK or Salman say to the media. They were not there at the scene so it isn't like they are refusing to be witnesses or something.

agreed...when dey can help her out personally , why wud dey give bytes for moral support when dat can be given in person himself..dey are close friends of preity and m sure dey will stand by her
and since its a legal case, its better dey keep quiet becoz who knws deir statemants can be used by the oppsition lawyer in a wrong way specially since preity is a public figure...
being a star doesnt mean dey shud get moral supprt through media and social sites..dey are still humans like us and i m sure her friends wud have been supprting her in her dire state

Of course ...SRK should have suffered huge losses...but should have carried on with Aishwarya who left with Salman that day leaving the shooting in between...and it was not as if he threw her out because it happened one time...The shooting was being disrupted almost every day...What did people expect Shahrukh to do at that time...Salman-Aish were a couple...

My moral support comment was not for Preity; it was for Aish. & my main point was not about moral support... main point was SRK fired someone who was not at fault. Being apathetic is something else, & being cruel is something else. I found dropping Aish from CC cruel.
