Aishwarya did NOT leave the sets every day; it's when Salman caused a ruckus the first day, banged into her car and brought the shoot to a halt that Aishwarya left sobbing. She shot the remaining of the 2-week schedule on time, and only later was she dumped without being informed. And the bigger blow was her BFF Rani was the one who greedily grabbed the offer.
How difficult was it for SRK as producer to get security guys to handle him. But no, SRK wanted to remain in Salman's good books as well. And in the end he chose Salman over Aishwarya because Salman was the bigger power.

Anyhow Aishwarya understood SRK's decision from a professional point of view and still held him in high regard whenever she spoke of him. But it was obvious he lost her as a friend.

Yes, SRK did apologize to Aishwarya for what he did. He truly felt guilty for what he did. But in the end he had to make a sensible decision for him to thrive in the industry. He was only going to lose if he made enemies with Salman. He was not going to lose anything by dumping Aishwarya professionally. He could get any other actress in an industry where actresses are dispensable. But what is pertinent to note here is that he apologized only after she became a Bachchan, not all those years when she remained Rai. May be Ash realizes this and still keeps a distance from him.

I think both were right in their own way here..The case is filed and there are many reports floating in media which are also stating that this whole thing might be staged..So I will say they did the right thing by not getting very opinionated about it..
And about SRK giving moral support to Aish during Chalte Chalte well everyone saw what happened to Vivek when he went for Moral Support..😆..Its better to be selfish at times professionally rather than getting into unncessary controversy..

well salman also created a ruckus on the sets of kuch na kaho and abhishek chose to remain silent while vivek spoke out about the issue.

ironically, ash married abhishek (the guy who didnt take a stand for her) as opposed to vivek (the guy who did take a stand for her)...

taking a public stand on someones personal matters means nothing if its ill informed, taken in haste and taken without consulting the people involved...furthermore, it isnt as one dimensional as we would like it to be..."he took a stand - hes a good and fearless"..."he didnt take a stand - hes a power hungry selfish idiot"...

neither of the celebs were there when the incident happened...how are they entitled to comment anything about it? Its perfectly understandable if they dunt want to until its proven in court, given how delicate the situation is...even randeep hooda said the same thing on this matter when he was asked abt it "i dunt get into peoples personal matters and neither should u"...maybe they dunt know enough abt the situation and would like to stay mum...maybe they dunt want to sensationalize it even further given its not even their own matter...i respect that much more than giving emotional knee jerk statements...as for support for priety...who knows, they might have talked to her in private...they dunt need to prove their friendship to u and me as long as priety is getting the support.

It's easy to point fingers. I don't think any of us was present at the sets to know what really happened. We base our assumptions on what he hear and what we read.

Aishwarya did shoot her 2-week schedule, but she also left the set quite a number of times. It was not only once. Salman repeatedly showed up on sets and made her be available to him. The same thing even occurred during Devdas where Salman usually happened to be the drunk one. Anupama Chopra has spoken about the incident in one of her books. But yes, she was thrown out of the film without being informed. A very tasteless and unprofessional thing for SRK and the production house to do.

As far as calling security is concerned, that was not going to happen. Salman was a huge star as well, SRK was not going to call security on him. He did control the man a few times himself though.

And how did SRK side with Salman? He immediately started distancing himself from Salman after the incident. Their first fight occurred soon after. I think SRK was looking for a way to get out of Salman's friendship all along. Which continues to happen till now.

Salman wasn't attacking the sets with his army of men. He was just a drunk 5 foot 7 inch man. A couple of bouncers would have sufficed.

And I know SRK never liked Salman. He didn't want to be all BFF with him but just didn't want to be in his bad books. Salman had just killed people, hit people, killed animals, was abusing a woman before his eyes. SRK just thought it was too much for him to handle him, to keep him as a friend or enemy. That's why he diplomatically distanced him until their egos clashed in 2008 and a full blown fight took place.

I could completely understand SRK's version and if he had narrated the same to Ash, I am sure she would have withdrew from the film herself. But things didn't happen like that...

Hai hai yeh majboori

See, in this case as well, he is laachar. He is a rival of KXIP. If he supports PZ, the Burman Bros & Wadias would accuse him of framing Ness to eliminate competition with the help of his best friend PZ.

PZ & media must forget about him. Bechare ko baksh do!

Edit: Corrected the name.

Bouncers or security, it doesn't matter. Fact is...one actor will not have another actor be handled by security upon his call. It just won't. Plus, Salman's family had taken care of SRK when he first arrived. There was no way SRK would have done anything against him. The best he could do was stop the fights himself.

SRK and Salman are very different people. They were never meant to be friends. Salman's naivety and innocence of wanting to treat SRK as a brother is what fueled their friendship until the fight. If SRK didn't want to be in Salman's bad books, then he would never have fought with him. Their first major fight happened in 2003...right after the CC incident. Unfortunately, they made up at Farah Khan's wedding in 2004. It was initiated by Salman. Left to SRK, I think he would have preferred being an acquaintance to Salman. The 2008 fight would never have occurred if they had just accepted that their too different to be friends.

There were times when SRK used to lie to Salman for Aishwarya...saying she's not on the sets. Salman used to go crazy when he would show up and saw SRK lied. He anyways believed they were having an affair. I don't think he picked Salman over Aish seeing as his friendship with Salman also soured post CC, until Salman hugged him at Farah's wedding.
I think SRK has a problem. He is not courageous enough to tackle these personal tough decisions himself so he hides due to embarrassment, even if business-wise his decision is necessary...which is completely wrong. He didn't tell Aishwarya about CC and he didn't tell Juhi about replacing her brother as CEO of RCE.
