well my view about alia changed completely when I saw Highway. As for now I like her. I haven't seen two states but she was nothing special in SOTY.

She is not that great looking to be honest. A lot of professional make up, nice dresses, etc can make many girls look hot.

LOL @ the title of the thread...

Remember that thread about Alia being # 1 in 3 years😆...See to be number one an actress needs to be able to do a variety of roles...especially look hot and sexy like Kat and Deepika...be able to work with the A lister heros like the Khans , Kumar and the Devgans...I mean as sad as it is...it is a fact...that most of the actresses become A listers just be working with the Khans, Kumars and Devgans...especially if they are not just a flowerpot and have something to do...Here is where Alia's age is a deterrant...she cannot act against the older heroes...even the younger ones look old against her...the Khans will look like pedophiles acting against her and I am sure the Khans are not even going to touch Alia with even a 10 foot pole😆...she can't to roles like the ones required in movies like Race ...Alia looks extremely ridiculous trying to be hot and sexy...its not because she is a bad actor...infact she has proved that she is a good actor...its just that she can't pull off those kinds of role even with good acting...so for now Alia will be stuck with doing roles that require her to play her age...maybe in the next 5-6 years she will look more mature and then we will see what happens..

Till now all her costars kinda suited her, so it wasnt dat bat...but imagining her with Ranveer, Aditya etc would b weird...

I think Ranbir and Shahid will suit her age, others look quite older to her..

BTW, any idea what her upcoming projects are after Humpty??

i find alia really cute. i think she looks good with the newcomers like Sid,Varun. They suit her well.. yeah she is really young for BW and look like a teen onscreen. but she has some potential and i loved her in 2states.she is too young to get compared with Bips and Kat. they are on some other level. she has to go long way for that.

@Red:I agree..Even I find her very awkward when she tries to be all hot and sexy..She looks very unhibited and comfortable onscreen otherwise... Alia is at complete ease when she portrays roles nearer to her age group...But honestly I cant blame these girls Alia or Pari for trying to go down the sexy route,donning sexy looks during prmotions etc...Though they themselves dont feel confident,they cant simply limit themselves to comfort zone...Its asked of them to try out different looks...even bold scenes have become a requirement of BW movies made today...especially they are pitted against competitors like DP and Kat whose hotness quotients plays a big role in marketing of their movies...Shocking as it may sound,there are men who find Alia sexy...It was disturbing for me to watch all that cleavage show and making out scenes in 2 states but there were ppl who were perfectly ok with those or enjoyed watching them...So while I do wish and hope Alia takes up characters and roles that suit her age and persona,I cant fault her for exploring movies belonging to different genres and risky roles.

Its Shandaar with Shahid and Queen's director Vikas as per news...its confirmed I think...But no articles or buzz abt it as of now

She should jsut let that happen naturally instead of forcing it on b/c everyone else it doing it. I think she looks cute and innocent and she should work with it b/c youth, innocence fades away much quicker than sex appeals. When she ages, she can naturally accept that sexiness and it won't seem like she's trying too hard.

I notice her trying to be very Kareena-like onscreen. But she doesn't have to be b/c the Alia in Highway and 2 States was just perfect.
