Whats a best sleeper hit?

Best film out of the ones mentioned or the film that had the least chance of succeeding but still did anyway?

OMG is the biggest hit among the ones mentioned, and Paan SIngh Tomar is the best one. Queen had the least chance of succeeding, a non-mainstream plot, a woman- oriented film and not the greatest promotions. It was one of the few films that did better in its following weeks than its first, which says to me, that its a complete WOM hit.

lol yea i was shocked seeing how much it was being praised, and karan johar was like reccomending everyone to watch it on kwk for some reason saying its a brilliant film and i was just like 😕, is this called brilliant now? it was entertaining but there was nothing brilliant about it.

It is a very tough choice.

But I will vote for OMG.

I feel it was a brave movie in a country like India. Kudos to the team for making such a film.

They played it kind of safe in the end. But overall it was superb in challenging blind beliefs and attacking institutions that commercialise religion.

The fact there is no masala, naach gaana, sex/romance or violence in it, no conventional ingredients for a Hindi film to be hit only adds to its achievement.

It became a success despite so called protests and bans in some places.

Success of a film like this really shows some change mindset of Indian moviegoer.

I enjoyed OMG OMG, what a witty film. And also Band Bajaa Baraat. So, these two it is for me.

I'll pick OMG, Queen, VD and Kahaani.. I liked all 4 ⭐️
I'll vote for OMG though for being such a daring and interesting film.

Omg.. For me.. It was a great movie..
Seeing how India is about religion.. Defiantly a brave move.. The success of this movie prove that people are moving on..
