Lol It's Deepika being her usual diplomatic self. I think any other star in her position would have given the same sugarcoated answer. None of them are gonna openly admit to all the immoral and questionable things they have to do to in order to further their career.

They should have had Kangana on the show..she's the only one who tells it like it is when it comes to the dirty secrets of Bollywood. But I guess she also has nothing to loose so it's easier for her to poke fun at Bollywood. It would have been interesting to see Karan and Kangana on the show. She probably would have made him uncomfortable.

Deepika is a very competitive person.

She is not about to give out the secrets so that more aspiring actors can use her 'technique' and become her competitors!

Well technically she has been herself- she is mostly diplomatic, on the boring side, only rarely is her candour displayed. And no actress that can provide interesting, actual food for thought comes to mind here, barring Kangana- her TFR interview was appreciated. But even then, her stark honesty about her hardships in BW has begun to grate people here, the spate of interviews just recently where she discussed this were deemed insufferable (not that I find it/her so).

and what shouldve been apt reply
is screen presence, luck, looks, choosing boxoffice friendly films, acting,dancing skills,
big banner films, saleablea a-list costars, hardwork
popularity and a somewhat pleasing personality.
those stuff makes one a superstar from a star/actor.
yes she could have been more interesting by
saying those above qualities which makes one superstar but
they invited the wrong guest she is painfully diplomatic
and doesnt even enjoy praising herself forget sharing
juicy secrets of bollywood for exciting tv viewing.
