Something About Mohenjodaro

As we mentioned in an earlier snippet,
Hrithik Roshan is gung-ho about
Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjodaro, a
period love story, and is taking a keen
interest in every department of the
film. A source close to Gowariker says
the actor is actively discussing with
the director as to who fits which
character.
The source further states that Jr
Roshan is looking forward to starting
work on the film as he firmly believes
they can repeat the magic of Jodhaa
Akbar at the ticket counter. It must
be noted that despite the many
problems the movie faced after it
released, the film went on to become
one of the biggest success stories of
that year. The film was banned in
Rajasthan in the first few days and
parts of Maharashtra didn't screen
the film. But once its collections
gained momentum, it managed to
impress the audience and did
phenomenal business, despite its
almost three hours run time.
Looking at the lethal combination,
rest assured they will repeat their
magic for sure.
PS: The successful duo of Ashutosh
Gowariker and Hrithik Roshan has
shortlisted a few names to play
leading lady and her name will be
announced in couple of weeks from
now.
