IKR..I was wondering the same too..Do they not get along or something? I mean, of course you need to oppose whoever makes such ridiculous statements however well you get along with that person but its weird that she condemns him on a public platform..Well done though..Am glad she voiced her opinion criticizing his statement..

I doubt that they get along. These people are such paradoxes honestly. With the shit that he spews, you begin to wonder why he even got his son married to a Bollywood actress like Ayesha (not that anything is wrong with that but it does not sync with his regressive ideologies). I wonder how her husband is okay with his wife criticising his father on twitter. 😕 I am glad she voiced her opinion too.

W*F is wrong with this DUCKER??!? (replace D with F 😡 )
What a disgusting mindset! My god how can anyone be so HEARTLESS to say these things? My heart breaks when I think about all the crazy issues India is facing

EVERYDAY we hear 5 new rape stories, others are not even registered or spoken about. When will enough be enough?
When will these sh*tty politicians and system start fading?

Btw Mr. Azmi.. Having sex without someone's consent means RAPE. So stop saying " with or without consent" . If you think a woman being forced upon is consent, then you need to get your brain checked first or get some basic education.

I live in Canada but sometimes I just wish I could fly to India and beat the crap out of these politicians 😡 😆
But oh wait, according to this BATAMEEZ's logic, I would be hanged because I'm a woman. Give me a break.

Ok rant OVER 😆

Yeah exactly..The fact that his son married a Bolly actress when his father is being this regressive ass sorta indicates that they probably don have a normal relationship..And she did mention that even Farhan is disappointed with the statement..I mean if they did get along, she probably would have condemned him in private and not exactly taken to a public platform to vent her frustration..Either ways, its good she spoke up..

No wonder India ranks as the worst place to be a woman in the world. It's because of the people like these that India will never move forward. This sick bas***d is just using religion as an excuse. A woman does not say come and rape me, sick bas***d.🤢 Both should be hanged..W*F is he talking about? The people that should be hanged are the rapists, sick bas***ds. Rape is a heinous crime and only a proper punishment is death penalty. 🤢 He makes me feels sorry for the women in India. You know to be honest as a foreigner for a minute people like these make me want to cancel my plans in December to visit India.

regarding an earlier discussion about the level of punishment required for rape, id like to add in...
rape isnt just an act of sexually abusing the woman (id like to keep the abusing of men and children out of this particular discussion )...it is an act of enforcing the "power" of male gender over the female...as discussed before, it puts immense physical and mental trauma on the victim during and also in the aftermath of the incident...

furthermore , it tips the balance in the society making it highly patriarchal and one sided because such acts force all the other women and their families into a constant state of anxiety regarding her safety...therz cases of women quitting jobs, women being told to "be home early" or always "be with a friend" or "dress modestly"...basically being dictated every second of their lives...it takes away the freedom and the basic rights from women in the society...yes certain women do fight back but the majority are too scared because of the level and the consistency of the dastardly acts that have been happening in the country...

any crime that is as consistent and forces the society into a regressive mindset along with placing unimaginable mental and physical trauma to its victims ought to be punished as strictly as possible...its literally terrorizing an entire gender...

Exactly, majority of the women don't have the tool to fight back. If they complain to the police, they won't take them seriously. They will be threatened and tortured to withdraw their cases. Money talks a lot in a lot of places. What i even am scared is for the daughters of people like these. If this is their viewpoint, imagine the state their daughter or wives must be in. You know it's not just men who have views like these. A lot of the women you would be surprised will blame the rape victim instead of a man. They will think her as of a wh**e. Unless, we women are not able to put our insecurities, jealousies and team up ourselves, we can be together. It's human to be jealous and insecure but a lot of times we not being able to put our differences aside is a problem itself. You know a man can be a woman enemy, but woman can equally be a woman's greatest enemy. Also, a lot of influence from parents do shape children , it's just unfathomable what kind input they must be feeding thei kids.🤢🤢🤢
