After Devdas was released in 2002, there were a couple of dissertations/ papers discussing about the various aspects of the novel and how it has been made into films so many times, and in so many different languages.

One of these papers were on the use of navrasa in the film in its song and dance sequences. And the person who wrote the paper went into depths about how Madhuri expressed 4 different rasas in the Maar Dala song ...

It was an informative read, and mostly spoke positive about the adaptation, though I wish SLB had gone slow on the red colour a bit

Sri scored over Madz as far as roles and movies were concerned. But somehow I find Sri OTT nd also her dialogue delivery failed her.

Disclaimer: Dis is just my POV nd I like Sri as well, so don't make it into a Sri v/s Madz thing, especially wid unsubstantiated claims. For the rest, read my siggy.😳

I agree! Sridevi, Madhuri, Rekha, Madhubala are the ultimate QUEENS of Bollywood and are unparalleled! No one can EVER match their talent/ beauty/ stardom or ANYTHING AT ALL! In the very male dominated industry, these are the actresses who have always overshadowed even their superstar male co-stars! they were/are/will always remain to be the icon/divas/legends of Bollywood forever!

That aura started with Madhubala, continued with Rekha then Sri and ended with Madz! I see no other actress in that league anymore!

🤗 M fine dear hows youuu 😃.. Arre dont worry I am not like those obsessed fanz who will jump on you for disagreeing with me 😆 You must categorize me just as a 'basher', sorry that Gau was on my target list but I hardly get offended when someone bashes my fav 😆 You can dont worry 🤗

Now coming to the Topic, yeah, SD and Madz my two ALL-TIME favorites, I can watch any krap movie if they are in it 😆 .. I was delighted much to see the last year's NDTV ratings of 100 yrs of Bollywood Top Actress rating.. SD got 54% then Madz got 45% 😆 Rest 1% was distributed amongst the rest 🤣 That is, according to me, the truth of BW ⭐️

Miss those good movies of them 😭 Even the mainstream dramatic movies like Beta, Tejaab etc etc were so much fun 😭

Her acting is suited for plays in the theater. Her dialogue delivery is very dramatic and she needs to tone down when it comes to films. Just like Priyanka Chopra. They both deliver dialogues like we are watching a play.😕
