I loved the movie and Nargis did well, infact she did full justice to her character.Morever music n feel of movie was amazing.

The problem of the weak base in the movie - for a person to become a singer - he has to be in love and get his heart broken...it always looked like a calculative move on Jordan's part - even after he genuinely fell in love with Heer - that again is a huge problem - when did he actually realise he was in love?😕

and the fact that what was it about Heer that attracted him to her? was it love or lust??

all these questions wouldnt arise, if the character of Heer was portrayed by a more capable actress... that in my opinion would have turned around the whole movie...and made it one not to be missed one

there were inconsistencies in the movement of characters...with no reason as to why they were behaving like that...

Why it was important to break your heart and ass to be a grate rock star. Isn't talent and skill are not enough for this??.
Plus why didn't heer divorce her husband and married to jondis. If they were in love(lust) to much??

rockstar may be inspired by a r rehman's life, and is one of the best movies in last 5 years.
some people did not get it, some are just doing their PR work against ranbir and his movies.

It was a highly pretentious film, it tried way too hard. It is Imtiaz' worst after LAK. Poor Jimmi Hendrix' soul must have rolled around in the grave all month long it ran at the theatres. Yikes. 😵

She would've made the perfect Heer.

Also, Vidya if she was much younger. Somehow I feel she would've really suited the role.

From the current crop I see no-one. Except Alia.

It's just that her pairing with Biru would look awfully weird but that's what I thought about Randeep & her but Highway BLEW ME AWAY.. SO.

Its true. 😆 Ranbir was the only saving grace. Any other actor and it would have been a complete parody, not like it already wasn't heading that way.What really pissed me off was comparing Ranbir's character's angst to Jimmi Hendrix's life throughout the promotions. I was on this forum then and every time we'd have some ridiculous article being posted comparing the film to Hendrix' life. Then I watched the movie, and it was flat out wannabe. 😡
