In relation to this topic , Ranveer didnt got an easy break in the movies , he struggled a lot to get his first role as a lead before BBB

Ranveer used to party in similar circles and all. he even dated Ahana Doel. Even Arjun didn't get any help from his father as he revealed in KWK. So all this "outsider" talk is just to make themselves feel better. Someone like Irfan Khan or Nawazzudin is a proper outsider not these rich kids.

No doubt ranveers dad is rich and yes he grew up in bandra where a lot of people in the industry grew up, but ranveer did struggle to get his first movie, being rich doesn't mean u automatically get a head start.

Arjun had salman to mentor him whilst he was growing up and then joined yrf for his first movie, he didn't have to struggle, and now his dad is making a movie for him.

My point is you build connections when you have the opportunity to party with BW people. Unlike a middleclass boy. Heck, you even get to date a star kid like Ahana. Arjun revealed the same casting director that selected Ranveer didn't even know he was Boney's son as he used to be so fat. And he didn't have the best of relations with his dad. So playing outsider card is not 100% accurate especially compared to Irfan who knew no one.

Ranveer gate crashed a party where Shanoo was attending and she asked him if he wanted to be in movies, ranveer said no because he was only in school. After that ranveer went to america to study film and came back and had to struggle and audition a lot because no one was giving him a chance.

Luckily for him when BBB was going to be made Shanoo remembered ranveer and told Aditya chopra that he wud be perfect for the part, and then he was called in for an audition and got the part.

This is more to do with luck and Shanoo giving him a chance, it has nothing to do with him being rich and having any contacts.

Arey, you could say same about everyone except HR who was launched by his dad. Both Sonam and Ranbir assisted SLB before they acted. Sid comes from a middle class family but assisted Karan Johar alongside star son Varun Dhawan. So both had a strong mentor in KJo despite coming from different background. People like SRK, Sushant started with TV and that's proper struggle. An AC mechanic coming from village like Irfan Khan could never get to meet such people let alone party with them. They are the proper outsiders. Everything else is sugarcoating it. Everyone who made it big has done with their talent and hard work so no point in taking extra credit especially when you're 1/4th "outsider" Like Ranveer. 😆

^ lol so ur saying that ranveers struggle is not the same as other people struggling because he came for a well off family? And so to struggle u have to be for a middle class family?
