No he is not, he is related to sonam from her moms side, and sonams moms family have nothing to do with the film industry. He is also distantly related to sonam, he is like her second cousin. So no he is not an industry kid.

And also he didn't take aneil kapoors or anyone's help to get into the industry. Shanoo sharma, the casting director of yrf, discovered him and referred him to Aditya chopra for BBB.

He is an outsider, because he is from sonams moms side and didn't grow up in the industry, becuz his family have nothing to do with bollywood

It does because he didn't grow up in the industry or around anyone who was in the industry. Nobody helped him getting his first movie or any of the movies he has gotten, he has got them on his merit.

His family just know the kapoor family but very distantly. Even arjun said he first met ranveer at yrf studios when they were both starting thier films, before that they didn't even know each other.

Wat has ranveers family being rich got to do with being an outsider or not?. He cud be rich or poor but he is still an outsider because he is not from an industry family. Yes he is distantly related to sonam and her mom, but he is not from the kapoor family.
