I'm just saying that at the end of the day it's all about connections in Bollywood. If he didn't know Shanoo Sharma then to this date he'd still be auditioning or would've settled for a supporting role in some B-grade film.

Also if ranveer was churning out flops after flops then who does he have to fall back on? Nobody, Shanoo is just a casting director at yrf, if ranveers movies started to fail then because he doesn't have a filmy name to fall back on then his bollywood career wud start to sink.

Ranveer said this himself that he has to work twice as hard and be even more careful with his scripts because he doesn't have a filmy family to fall back on, and he has always spoken about not being fond of nepotism and elitism in the industry.

I never said that Ranveer wasn't an outsider I said he wasn't a "complete outsider"... which is someone who has no connections or film family whatsoever and auditions for roles as a stranger. Stop taking that as an insult... it's not bad that Ranveer knew Shanoo, it's cool because he's hard-working and talented. However Ranveer did have an advantage over other struggling actors when he auditioned for Bittoo Sharma because he had an insider by his side.
