All the articles on Gunday call it a surprise hit as it lacked "high star quotient"

PC are you listening?

while ranveer and arjun are newbies so that's acceptable

but whattay slap on PC's face! Apparently she considers herself a superstar who has been ruling since a decade but the articles just don't accept her as one!

Gunday Crosses 50 Crore Mark in Five days - Box Office

Having decent collections on Monday and Tuesday, Gunday has now crossed the 50 Crore mark. Recording a collection of 5.10 Crores on Tuesday, the film now stands at a total of 53.30 Crores at the domestic box office.

The film which did exceptionally well on its opening day experienced an expected drop on Tuesday, considering it is a weekday. Gunday performed exceptionally well in metros mainly in Delhi and Central India.

The lack of a usual romantic angle and also a high star quotient could have dampened Gunday's performance at the box office. What came as a surprise was the movie doing better at multiplexes than that of single screen theaters. The movie does has some potential of touching a 100 Crores if Highway does not wash it away this weekend.

I think they r talking more about the lead actors not pc, both ranveer and arjun are quite new

that's not mentioned any where!

star cast is star cast!

even Katrina had nothing to do in D3 but was counted as a major reason in collections

PC was shown well enough in promos

her item songs etc

so that's no excuse!

well can you explain to me how come a superstar kareena kapoor khan's heroine, emaet, W*Fav, satyagraha, gtpm..all bombed. does this logic of yours apply to so called SUPERSTAR kareena as well.

but I am talking about PC here?

when did I call kareena a superstar? 😕 she is on the verge of being a has been. I would hardly even call her a star now!

There are very few female superstars. After Sridevi, Madhuri and Ash, it's only Katrina who enjoys a great fan following and popularity. I do not consider Kareena, Priyanka superstars. They were never number 1!

crab mentality is so evident towardz PC... the girl is breaking all boundaries and barriers,, achieving new heights every day but btown folks obvi cant tolerate that so they always try to pull her down but who cares,, PC WE LUV U, KEEPING DOING UR THING CUZ UR FAB!

as much as I love PC, and her work this is way too much...she's behind Aish and I guess DP too in actresses, and in actors...!! I done even need to say a word.

To the topic maker...I dont care what any silly article says, but she's a superstar undoubtedly, that's a different thing that this girl hasnt done anything worthy after Barfi..but yet... In many ways, she's way ahead of many actresses... from the beginning playing a role like in Aitraaz, and to Barfi...she's more than brilliant. However her choice of movies is seriously way too bad after Barfi...someone needs to give her proper advice.
