I have a lot of hopes from deepika sonakshi priyanka Kareena vidya hopefully these actresses would be able to change that by doing more female oriented movies.

Oh it DEFINITELY will change, it's a very slow process but it's happening. Trust me, audiences AND film makers are now starting to notice that the same old masala bakwaas won't work. I believe that's part of the reason why bollywood has also launched so many new actors and has introduced many new film makers as well along with new genres of movies being portrayed in new light..there's a hunger for change somewhere and though slowly, it will happen. Let's keep our heads up and support girl power!! 🤗

Always I am always there to support girl power. Girls rock. According to me age is just a number and this applies to both females and males. If an actor or actress is good looking and can act then 30 plus or 40 plus doesn't matter.

I don't know if you like salman or not but that guy is in his 40s but he's still so good looking and madhuri dixit is also in her 40s but still she's good looking. So if an actor or actress has looks and acting then age doesnt matter, it's us people who make age a big issue.

Yes it's changing. It's a slow process like you said but its changing and I am glad to see the change.

Honestly, I feel like married actresses ARE still loved the same way as younger ones. I mean, Aishwarya is still topping beauty polls even thought she is 40 and out of shape, that says a lot.



Madhuri, Kajol and Aishwarya STILL come in Top 10 actreses list, even though there is so much competition. People still remember them.

People WANT to see them. The problem that I see is that these actresses themselves don't "want" success as much. The fire and ambition inside them dies. They become mothers and then they kind of stop caring and move on.

If we can have someone like Beyonc in the world, who bounced back in a huge way after marriage and kids, then why not here? I know that's the west and this is India, but I have yet to see a married actress who is a mother in India who WANTS to do well and compete and be included in the rat race.

Madhuri is clearly just around for the money, Sridevi seems like she doesn't care.

I really think Aishwarya and Kajol CAN break the mould, and Im sure they get good offers as well but I don't see the motivation and will power in them to want to do good. Kareena has now hopefully learned her lesson so she can buck up and sign some solid projects...And you cant take off for many years and then expect to come back...like Karishma took a 9 year break, Madhuri took a 5 year break...its been 3 years since Aishwarya has been on-screen...You really cant take such long breaks and then expect to come back and be JUST AS POPULAR. I think maximum 2 years, and then you should resume.

I think the audience can accept an older actress, she just has to be smart about it and constantly reinvent herself. It can happen, and im sure it will happen one day. But if these women continue this old fashioned mentality that they have to leave everything after having kids and not have a career - then sadly it wont happen for a while. Its not impossible,
