I love Sallu, but I watched only half of it and turned it off cuz I got bored..Daisy shah sucks, the story is too all over the place, they say the same lines a million times lol

The message and intention was good though..
I miss the old Salman in movies like Tere naam, Kyon ki, Dil ne jise apna kaha, hum dil de chuke sanam etc.

@sg and others what do you mean by being critical, most have been very critical when it came to jai ho, and we know reasons why it didnt become huge like other movies( or not click with certain groups) but the msg on helping people isnt wrong!! And thats what we been saying!!

i agree with u to an extent but i really think that the movie went wrong with the execution. i actually loved the fact that jai was an army officer bt the action again wasnt for this movie. the 1st half hour was where they messed up completely how can they have 3 songs in a movie with the sort of msg ithey wanted to convey ts absolutely ridiculous. the 1st song was fine bt the 1st class song should have been just an extra song at the end. and than daisy entry with her dancing should have been a little shorter and not so long. i liked the 1st scene of girl in the club and some1 spiking her drink bt they did injustice to that scene by ridiculizing it with the goons finding the girl and the who conversation btw jai's mother and than the action. but really i loved salman's performance he is an actor he gives his input on how he would like his scenes done bt he isnt a writer or producer at the end of the day. i dnt know bt felt coz tabu was in the film and they made her speak about jai's good nature they didnt give salman enough lines besides the whole 3 ppl thing when they should and could have also gotten his character to speak about his feelings as well coz really therwe is so much an actor can do with crap. this movie needed an experienced and the best producer; directors and writers bt unfortunately it didnt have that. But i loved Jai he is 1 of my fav characters of salman and i loved tabu as well as daisy and a few other characters in the movie and they did well with what they where given. u are right this could have been a master piece bt coz of the team backing salman it couldnt be. but it is of no fault of salman.

The failure of Jai Ho is due to the films attempt to fuse two incompatible themes together in one movie. The result is a conflicting mess. Not to add the narrative was choppy and some subplots had no relevance. I don't get why fans cannot be critical of their star.

But not only his supporters but critics praised Salman in this movie, and others so thats reason with the hype, as its not like his other movies!!
