They obviously didn't, the film is a flop when you compare it to his recent track record of blockbusters, if it was so well received, we wouldn't have seen such pathetic box office numbers.

Blockbuster or do huge business but it still did decent business according to the trade ( im going by trade, not based on his status, as you will try to counteract with that) as you need something to say !!

But i dont deny it didnt work in multiplexes!! But to say masses dont like noble thoughts is a stereotype!!

Jess...did u read what RTH wrote??? Here it is...

If you like a star and want them to succeed, shouldn't you call them out on what they did wrong - so they can fix it and do better in the future?

^^ I got her (rth)point, and understand, most know what was wrong and said he was sending a msg but at same time wanting is image as a massy OTT hero portrayed( who can take on zillion goons, then just a normal guy (common man), thus was unrealistic!! Which was her point( so yes i got it)!!

but Hesienberg to whom I was addressing was saying masses are dumb, and dont like noble thoughts nor good cinema like 3idiots, is a stereotype, secondly the movie did good business and a hit!!

And before some jumps in im not comparin this in to 3i ..though movie has a great msg!!

Anyways Salman's wants to be seen in movies as being larger than life, as he says his audience enjoys that!!

and .hes not into straight out preachy movies( as they dont work according to him nor he desires todo those kinds)!! But here he was trying to convey a msg !!

anyways its best he do his typical entertainers, and mix it up with rom coms, and romance like Soorajs that so many want to see and miss..

But saying i dont get TM's point dont make sense!!

Only thing i have stuck by in this movie was the msg/thought was good..not whether it was excuted right, etc..and we not making excuses even we accept things still people complain!! But when there star does a movie that some people dont accept what they did wrong, wont say names on those stars otherwise will get jumped on bringing in other stars..

Anyways that post was answering Hesienberg!! Nothing todo with TM's view!!

Why was the film named Mental originally? I have a odd feeling that Jai was mentally unstable, as said many times by Tabu and the antagonists, or else what was with all the roaring and obvious anger issues. 😆

Roaring was cringeworthy. Message was good. Too many fights. Loved the ending. Wacky logic didn't stop all his other movies from becoming BB's. Don't know why people aren't accepting that it was due to substandard promos and music that it didn't generate enough hype and underperformed + boycotting also played a key role and all that hullabaloo. Piracy was an issue as well, but people will say Salman fans are making excuses, so the less reasons the better.

me to think the same jai was not mantal stable guy 😆 mental title suits the movie well 😆
