Can a young actor please steal Parineeti's thunder for a change? - Page 11

Its not pari's fault she's good and overshadows her costars. I for one am happy an actress has out-shone the actors. She's brilliant at what shhe does. How is her role in HTP similar to Ishaqzaade? It looks completely different to me. I haven't seen SDR so can't comment. People need to stop complaining

Reading the reviews both Sid and Parineeti are getting acclaims. Parineeti slightly more than Sid, but he did make his mark.

Right, but you're comparing Parineeti to male actors...that's unfair.

Its a male-dominated industry and actors get ALOT More opportunities than the actresses.

Why don't you compare Parineeti to the other new females...Alia, Shradddha, Illena, Nargis Fakhri, Compared to them Parineeti is in a whole other league.

Parineeti is in the same category as Sonakshi and Anushka now, people even have that complaint with Anushka, that she plays similar roles...until Lootera people had that complaint with Sonakshi, that shes a flowerpot.

Why are we acting as if Parineeti has acted in 14 movies doing the same role...Its just 3 and now HTP looks different. I rather take this...than have a Katrina in a Dhoom-3 where she does NOTHING.

Parineeti has even said, that she has gotten a lot of offers, but she only takes on the strong roles. Maybe this is all she is getting offered? I think she is doing fine as she is! She has LOTS of time to prove her versatility and talent...Shes only 25 and 3 films old. She has her whole life to do risky roles. Theres no need to put all this pressure on her.

I think many people here are being too sensitive about this. Asking for her a young, male actor to outshine Parineeti at something she excels in would be very interesting to see..and as someone mentioned a lot of times women tend to outsine male actors in a genre such as rom-coms..why would it be blasphemous to see the unexpected as an audience?...not too sure how some have extracted so much else out of this thread. To term that as complaining, targeting her for her brilliance, hating on her or whatever else is pretty stupid.

Why I feel that Sid fans are whining again only because their certain pretty boy is being ignored again :/

Anyways Pari is indeed actor of our generation! Here on IF each and everything is considered overrated so I am not surprised with people's comment!

Anyways happy with her... Let her shine in her glory

I actually don't even think she is repetitive. I can't really understand how anyone can say Zoya of Ishaqzade and Gayatri of SDR were similar as characters. They had so many different nuances and Pari did such a great job etching out the different complexities of each of them, imo.

It's unfair to blame Parineeti for the praise coming her way. A young actor will steal her thunder when he is better than her in critics' eyes. As simple as that.

Let her act with Ranveer and Ranbir..we will see who steals the show then.

gal is getting amazing reviews for HTP. its all on her now...read the scripts and select roles wisely. potential to be next kajol. lets see... and yes she CAN steal thunder from actors. definitely.

Parineeti is getting amazing reviews. I would love to see her paired with Ranbir in a good film.

I don't see whats wrong if she stole the show, kudos to her I say, it will only make her place in the industry even more powerful. I can't wait to see her in killdil with ranveer, they make a great pair.
