Just watched HTP yesterday..from what angle did Pari's performance look good to these critics? She was so cringe worthy..she seemed to be inspired by her cousin from Barfi.

PS not saying PC was cringeworthy in Barfi..just that Pari seemed to be copying PC's expressions from Barfi.

What a bore of a film HTP was. Even worse than GTPM.

Parineeti is one of the bestest actresses of this century in bollywood !! You must be mad to say she is doing repetitive roles !! Each of her roles in her 4 films were different...Dimple was chubby and a spoilt brat...Zoya was a ferocious Muslim girl...Gayatri was a strong, decisive girl and Meeta is a mad, quirky scientist (those who are saying she was bubbly in the role of Meeta didn't see the film properly..,she was not BUBBLY, she was QUIRKY !! ) She deserves all the praise from the industry and she has indeed overshadowed her fellow actors in her films. Otherwise, why will she get a National Award in her second film ?

P.S.Hasee toh Phasee is a wonderful, awesome movie !! How can she copy Priyanka's expressions for this movie...she is not mentally challenged in the movie !! LOL

I do not want any actor to steal her thunder.

For long men have ruled bollwood and stolen the thunder from women

Now, women should 'steal' the thunder until there is talk of equality.

Let there be discussions and action about equal pay while women are ' stealing' the thunder.

Thunder cannot be stolen from people who have none.

I don't think Parneeti drowned Arjun in Ishaqzaade. I noticed him plenty for a guy who just made his debut. Arjun has screen presence.

SDR, Sushanth Singh Rajput has talent, but lacks screen presence. I recently saw a thread with SSR in some photoshoot. It is styled very well, but it is a guy who is styled well, the clothes swallow him up. It's almost like an ad where you don't know or care who the model is, you notice the clothes and surroundings more. Contrast that with a Salman, Ranveer or even a Varun, I guarantee you will notice them more, even in flat print. It has to do with personality and presence.

As for HTP and Sid. How can you steal thunder from someone who has the screen presence of a wooden post a pretty post, but it mostly blends in the background, so does Sid. There are plenty of actors who are wooden, Kat in almost or all of her movies, Deepika in most of her movies pre-Cocktail and even in Race2. But the thing is you notice Kat and Deepika because they have screen presence, they are not just pretty to look at.

ETA: Some people have screen presence, even in debuts and flower pot film roles with superstars. Sonakshi in Dabaang could not be drowned by Salman, Daisy Shah was literally part of the scenery. How is any of it because of Salman?, has to do with the individual actor.

parineeti is a very talented n natural actress...I simply loved her in ishaqzaade... I hated that movie SDR...I was so bored with the movie that I really couldn't even look at any actor properly...

in HTP,,,,she was awesome...what an actress...I forgot totally that she was parineeti...I thought she was actually that chemical scientist,...hahaha...she was so funny...ek garam chaye ki pyaali ho...hahahahha...she is my current fav among the young lot...
