Oh, let's not even talk about Aamir, I find him way too mechanical and over-rehearsed! That connect I can feel with Shah is missing big time with Aamir...so called "intelligent" actor! Ghanta! š
Sushant too?
Maybe she should just do a movie with Ranveer with both of them being at their crazy best. š
But, I dunno...it can't be that ALL the critics are biased towards her only? They don't have any solid reason to over praise her...but if ends up occupying most of their review space, it must mean she appeals to them with enough power each time? I'm not too sure about the audience reviews for SDR, maybe they liked Vaani the most š Wasn't she also praised a lot by the critics? I think she was hailed as the breath of fresh air against the same old Parineeti, or something š
But, its just 3 films...give Pari more time...she will prove her mettle! š
Vaani got the short end of the stick as far as the critics reviews were concerned ..
About the topic, well , I personally feel Pari is probably the most effortless actress of the current actresses... I mean, acting comes comes naturally and easily to her... and she has a really good screen presence...
About her roles , she has actually played different roles so far ... but there is something about the way she plays her roles.. maybe it is her voice or whatever .. that her character always comes across as "chirpy" or "fiesty" though actually the role isnt written to be that way..
About overshadowing , are we talking about perception here in the forum , or the reviews by the various critics in newspapers and Ent. channels? If it is the latter, I disagree that Parineeti overshadowed Sushant ...
I have read pretty much all the reviews of SDR .. Both were either equally praised by critics in glowing terms.. or either Sushant were picked as the highlight of the movie by some critics or Parineeti ..
And in a few reviews , Rishiji.
Vaani was the only one who was under-appreciated..
