he launched Aamir with a superhit but then gave him embarrassing films like Tum mere ho 😆 more than often , he has worked with new/flop directors in his career.

NOW That's what u call u get work from. Akki was spotted by his own makeup artist at Juhu beach which recommended him to producers. NOW that's what u call getting work coz of someone else.

You are pissed off of Salman coz of many Salman fans bash Katrina, otherwise reet's comment won't have bothered u so much.

No that's not the case. Just your example of "a person can only get a film because of influence/money, but not become successful if he/she has nothing to offer" reminded me of Katrina, so I stated the hypocrisy.

ROFL. Seriously, you're hilarious. Now you'll compare the people because of whom Akshay got into Bollywood to the person because of whom Salman got into Bollywood. Do you see no difference between a FATHER and a normal human who saw the talent in Akshay and recommended him?

Again I repeat, Salman is not a self made superstar because he already had connections! Unlike SRK or Akshay who out of nowhere landed up in Mumbai.. and ended up becoming the biggest of stars.

The difference is huge! Let me give you a sort of example: If one of your normal friends gets into acting and becomes a superstar.. then that would be like Akshay. And then we have Varun Dhawan, who is the son of a director, and he too ends up as a huge star. Now can we call both of them self-made? Did Varun (whose dad didn't launch or recommend him) have to struggle as much as Akshay? No right.. that's all I am trying to say mate.

bcz of Salim Khan and Veeru Devgan Salman and ajay are not considered " Self made " , only akshay gets this credit bcz of no filmy background ... he Deserves it

But I am talking abt their superstar position ... they all entered in BW kaise bhi ... but after that whatever they did is what made them superstars ...

and Akki, Ajay and Salman worked with so many newcomers , took risks , no backing of Big banners unlike SRK who was only working with YRF/Johars whose movies were guaranteed successful and in 90s and early 2000s it was considered honor to work with such biggies ...

I started liking Akshay a bit after this interview. I have always respected him as he is totally self made and a hard working person... But he seems to have reached a peaceful stage in life now and I like how sorted he is.
