u r one of the SOM salman fans becos, unlike u rest of the fans r not dissing Akki based on statistics, or his later achieved superstar status.. i read all the comments, obviously as a fan its natural u will defend someone, there is nothing wrong in it, but when u r trying to not face the reality, then what can one do ??

and yeah, as u said i didnt compare both the actors with their BO figures, becos unlike u i dont believe in comparison of actors with BO figures, as aaj BO king Aamir hain, in last decade it was SRK, and next decade koi aur hoga, it just changes with time.. and as i said, even if u consider BO statistics, salman has a lower phase than that of Akki in the period of 2000-2008 ...

and yes i mentione dthat plss dont qoute me, becos i knew that u won't have anything logical enuff to counter my post, becos my post was solely based on how u stated that Akki cannot be compared to salman becos he wasn't a big star in 90s..

otherwise i never denied salman's stardom, or his records and success, indeed m happy that he is having a dream run since 4 years now ...

You cant compare akkis struggle with anybody elses struggle. Salmans whole family is in show bizz , half of bollywood producers are his friends. Saleem javed had brand name n recall value. Even if salman had not used his father's name in initial stage. But people do recognise him as so n so's son from bollywood. Calling them on shows together. Taking his fathers interview etc etc .salman is completely bollywood family. Amd on other hand srk has had support of chopras johars , such big banners , he is medias darling. Akki has seen peeks n lows. He never had any loyal big banner production houses like srk to do movies with him. After watching KWK with Akki, I wish he host the next season of BIGG BOSS. He was just fab on his sense of humor. Another best choice for BIGG BOSS host is Anil Kapoor.

secondly, here the arguement was on the fact of being selfmade, which Akshay literally is, and atleast beats salman in this case..

we already know that salman is bigger, but when we r comparing on basis of being selfmade and struggler, its Akshay who is the winner, this guy struggled and made it here, and as u said he was nowhere in the competition in 90s, but ur salman was, so we all should give a bow to Akki becos he wasn't even equal or even close to the khans in 90s, but still he worked hard, and now achieve dthat status where he is compared with Salman or atleast talked about in the same league..

He is not gonna get the point.. even after my uber long explanations he didn't. I stopped for that very reason Harshu.Sundas and Light_Year. All he can do is brag about Salman's stardom, who by the way a few years ago was going through the same shitty period that Akshay is going through now.

I am talking about Salman Khan's WORK that was the reason for his stardom for 25 years, which you guys are giving credit to just Salim Khan. Do u guys understand WORK, coz it is showed by FILMS, those films which Salman did from 1989-2012. Not even a single film he was having any help from his father side from the start of his career. He got work based on his work, from MPK, Baaghi, Sanam Bewaffa to HAHK.

Discussion is this only, keep anything for akki, u guys are his fans, call him anything, but when you will literally ignore what kind of work n stardom Salman achieved on his own, Akki is ghantaa in front of him.

Akshay Kumar working in every shit film he was offered doesn't make him SELF_MADE SUPERSTAR. He was just surviving on those films to make it big. WORK sirf usi ne nahi kiya, Baakiyon ne bhi kiya hai.

Akshay Kumar alone was not struggling, everyone from that era was doing their bit. So many post told u guys, Family/Money can get/make u a FILM, but to make it SUPERHIT or FLOP is in Audience hands. Like Salman khan many other celeb sons/relatives have debuted in Bollywood, no one is like Salman Khan coz his Work speaks first.

And how easily people are forgetting here that Akshay got famous and recognition with Khiladi series and not just after 2007/2008.

lets pls not forget his hera pheri series, and some notable work in 90s.. indeed he was an action star in 90s, ppl loved him for his action, later in the last decade he tried different genres and succeeded in them too..

and as u said, i am also fedup of reading the same things about salman, comeon every star faces a low phase, and even salman did, and plss Akki's current phase is nowhere as disastrous as salman's phase of 2000-2008 .. its a lot better, he had S26 last year, and this year he has big releases too , esp wid Murgadas ..
