Actually, Salim Khan which is Sallu's father.. was already an actor/assist writer and director. So I personally wouldn't call him a selfmade superstar. Rather Akshay, Ajay and SRK are deserving of that title.

I think she meant big banners because Akshay said he didnt get big banners and ad to work with new comers and still made it huge. i think this way Ajay had connections too like dad was a stuntman or something..only Akshsy and SrK did not have direct connections..but Salim Khan when he broke up with javed didnt get much work, so his dads name didnt help much..anyways minnie meant big banners not who was a star kid
