Salim Khan never recommended Salman Khan for any film. Not to barjatya to cast him in MPK. Salman did modelling just like other struggler do. He did ads. How did his Father helped?

When u say SuperStar, you don't call it on 1st film, not even on 10-15 films, it requires immense success with big films scoring universally. It takes TIME. 5-10 years depending on your work.

Salman Khan gave 2 ATBB in just 5 years of his Debut, Smash HIts, universal popularity touching SKY, from 1989-1994, no Single film was offered 2 him just coz of SALIM KHAN. He got work coz of MPK. So for 25 years, Salman has worked hard on his OWN, not that his Dad helped him.

While in Akshay's case, SUPERSTAR Status he touched in 2007 only with Namaste London - Welcome, after which he was considered in big stars league like KHANS. Giving 1 hit & 5 flops from start of his career is not what u call SELFMADE SUPERSTAR, their was no choice for him, it was his SURVIVAL. In 2000, with Hera Pheri he got real star status, after which his Rom-Coms got him much needed appreciation.

You pick both the stars work - Salman, Akshay... Ups/Downs, High/Low... You won't find 1 single film from Salman's career being backed by his father's support which proved to be big turning point. Salman Khan is equally deserving for this title as Akki is...

Aur ek cheez ENTRY Bahut CELEBS ko mili hai, har koi Salman Khan/Aamir Khan nahi hai. WORK matters in Bollywood not families.

You know what Billa.. tenu gall ta samajh ohni ni because you don't see beyond Salman. And jeh samjh aa vi gayi houghi.. tah you won't admit it because see: "K.Sean bashed Salman". 😳

I don't follow any Salman news or even him.. so I can't say how exactly Salim helped but I am sure about the fact that people perceived Salman differently because he was the son of a former writer/actor.

I am not even comparing Salman or Akshay's stardom. YES, Akshay didn't become a star instantly. The guy worked hard AND had to because he didn't know anyone in that business. And what do you mean with survival? Akshay was into martial arts.. he could've started his career there as well if he chose to quit acting! There is almost ALWAYS a choice.

SRK had to struggle.. but he atleast was backed by big banners after his entry. Akki had to work hard for so many years, just to get this far.. unlike any of the other superstars who either were backed by family/connections or were backed by big banners.

Akshay TRULY had to make it on his own.. and that's a FACT right here. I have tried my best to explain and honestly it's useless to continue this discussion.

He's never had any support whether it be the media, the industry or the big production houses. It's been all Akshay Kumar from day 1. I find his journey more inspiring and motivating than SRK's whose the other completely self made superstar but with loads of luck.

The man is a machine. Nobody is more hard - working, dedicated and disciplined like this man. This is how you make it. Some people get lucky, akki is all hard work. A true self - made superstar.

its more than hillarious how SOME salman fans r claiming that Akki shouldn't be compared with Salman becos Akshay achieved his superstar status in 2007 .. HAHAHA what a logic .. shows that how conveniently Sallu fans forgot that Salman even struggled a lot since 2000 and only bounced back again as the BO king in 2009 .. so in that way, if we calculate, all these 8 years Salman was definitely a superstar but only becos of his cult work which he did in 90s..

So now when we look back to Akki's work in the phase o 2000-2008, he has a better graph, indeed a fantastic graph beating Salman's this particular phase.. then how come Akki is not qualified to be compared with Salman ?. Only becos Akki does more films does not make his success go in waste or any less, and does not even make him a lesser celebrated star, indeed Akki is the only actor here who worked with so many different directors and so many different genres and succeeded irrespective of some BO flops..

If Salman can do southern remakes since 2009 ( excluding dabbang) and still be cherished and worshipped, why cannot Akki be when he gives some original and mindblowing films like OMG, S26, SIK, Welcome, Houseful series, namastey london and many more.. i m not saying Akki didnt do south remakes, but he also parallely did some original films which proved to be successful ...


PS:- I m no salman or Akki fan, so plss do not qoute me with some BO statistical figure to prove salman is better than Akki.. becos i never mentioned that he isnt better, i am only responding to the fact that how Akki is being trashed becos of his late achievement of superstardom.. his hardwork and struggle is an example of every actor here, thus guy deserve the credit and should not be dissed becos he was not as big as salman in 90s.
