At its heart, Khubsoorat was a light hearted family entertainer and one of Rekha's best performances ever. It was not just about romance.

Sonam's only way of looking serious or feisty is to change her make up and dress to bright or dull. Variations in acting department are suspect.

What about the rest of the cast? The original had wonderful supporting cast.

Who's this hero? Why does Sonam work with unconventional lookers mainly?

Flashing one's teeth constantly isn't the only way to show a cheerful character. Guess actresses have totally forgotten this!

Agree and @Bold-Why do they remake old films?... Looks like the film is being made bec the original was totally female centric both Rekha's role and Deena Pathak's role were the highlight of the film & Sonam will have a good role and it's her home production.

^^ If the PH wants somebody powerful (acting wise)then only they will go for Kiron Kher, Supriya Pathak or JayaB... otherwise the spotlight will be totally on Sonam.
