Lol I love how Deepika has completely annihilated any female competition she had and is now being pitted against the men of bollywood. Now that's a bad bitch 😎. Her journey to superstardom has been amazing, it's been an uphill build-up since Cocktail. She has definitely proven herself with RL. So happy to see all her hard work pay off.

Seriously in order to be a real superstar, you have to give back to back hits. Like the Khans for example, they're always consistent. With Ajay you have massive hits like Singham/SOS and you have massive duds like Himmatwala/Satyagraha. With Akshay you have hits Special 26/RR and you have duds like Joker/OUATIMD/Boss. That's no starpower.

At least DP has been consistent since Cocktail. Can we at least let our insecurities set aside for now and appreciate how far she has come as an actress and as a star?

As I keep telling, star-power will be forgotten soon. Who remembers Vinod Khanna? Who remembers Fardin Khan's father? Who remembers Rajesh Khanna even? They were superstars once. But good acting is forever. If you act well, nobody can take that away from you. Where is Rani these days? But in years to come, people will remember her through Black. Kajol will be remembered for her Dushman. Deepika is going in the right direction. Today's super-star will be tomorrow's nobody. But good acting will never be forgotten.

I googled the guy and google didn't know 😆 😆 😆 is that the legacy these people should aspire to have 😉

Ajay/Akshay are just stars not superstars,u cant give a Hit and after a couple of months a disasters like Tezz.Rascal-OUATIMD,Boss

these two guys have been around as much as the Khans but they just dont have enough fan base to make their movies work,Same goes with Hrithik who is capable of giving big hits but after that disasters like Kites.Guzaarish.Ranbir has just started so he will get the benefit of doubts but he too should show a stable consistency if he one day wants to be called a superstar.

Coming back to Deepika she is not in the league (acting wise) of Vidya,Priyanka but popularity wise she is N.1 no doubt about that.

Balraj Sahni died in 1973. He acted extensively during 1940-50s. Which I assume is way before than your birth year. 😆 Now we cannot expect the young generation, 50-100 years from now, to remember any of these actors. They will have their own actors, then. And I know Balraj Sahni. A lot of people do, in fact. Better taste and all that. 😆 You are either born with it, or not. 😆 A lot of people don't know Simon and Garfunkel. Tells more about their taste than the legacy of those great people. 😆 Does it not? 😉

i feel deepika is a bigger star than ajay and saif right now.. But Akshay is still amongst the top heroes of bollywood, eventhough he had a bad year bvut still its not a cake walk to be in his position... deepika shudnt be compared wid Akshay..

but she is definitely bigger than saif if not Ajay ...
