Songs may be forgotten but roles like meenamma of CE , Veronica of cocktail n leela cannot be. They will be remembered years down the lane. She has proved this past year that she can do any kinda character n ace it !!!.

This is not a seasonal thing deepika is there for the long haul.

Those who ranting that kats did it way before with NY n MBKD...her film opening was not that huge as RL...n both NY n MBKD is a YRF film...the biggest production house...one needs to give credit I will go for APKGK becos that film was individual identity film for kats with no YRF involve but even that film opening was not huge like RL

Credit should be given when it should...in this case deepika was the only reason the audience went to watch the film...but after seeing the film they came out being DeepVeer shippers

Not everyone is a fan of SLB complicated film making. ...after disaster in terms of guzarish n saawariya...the audience has given up on him as he have loose his HDDCS/Devdas touch...

The trade people says this proudly that deepika was the reason for such huge opening...with protest n sachin last match being hurdle for the film yet it made such great business...its due to deepika's stardom n she has proved it...after watching the film...the audience gave full credit to the entire team

r u for real? crediting whole success to yrf then rl success is due to eros only during apkgk it have 4th highest opening ever in 2009 does ramleela have 4th highest opening ever like apkgk did in 2009😳 even that tym rk was nobody n kat was d main star attraction😆 this speaks volume n mbkd was 2 yrs back industry have grown a lot in this type span. no doubt abt deepika's star power but u r simply denying kat star power which shows u r so much delusion😉 kat have given hits over hits over the years only blind cant see it!

Akshay lasting 20+ years does NOT mean he has star power. Shahid Kapoor lasted 10 years in this industry with only 3-4(correct me if I'm wrong) hits to his credit out of like 20 films. Does that mean he has more star power than DP? No. Lasting a certain amount of time in the industry means close to nothing. As long as you know the right people then you're good!

Everybody said if RL becomes a hit, that means DP is a crowd puller. I think we should give her some credit because girls don't get their due everyday in this male dominated industry

I'm happy for DP and hope she continues to excel herself as a good actress

50cr weekend (3 days) is acheived by only 8 films in the history of BOLLYWOOD, Chennai Express(100cr) , Krrish 3(70cr), YJHD(62cr), Dabangg 2(64cr), Ek Tha Tiger(61cr), Ra.One(59cr), Jab Tak Hai Jaan(50cr), Bodyguard(52.5cr).

All these movies have Khan,Roshan or Kapoor in them.

Ram-Leela will soon join this list. Do i need to say more??
