I wouldn't call it AdiSraddha's "star power" cuz they weren't stars at that time. Their individual performance and their magical chemistry together worked wonders. It's AdiShraddha's chemistry + music that created the wholesome romantic effect. Music just added extra charm to their chemistry. Also the script and the bond shared by the lead characters played a vital role.

I read some of the comments here and they say it's only because of the music, I don't agree. People watched the movie more then 3 times in thearters not only because of the music but the leads Aditya and Shraddha did a brillant job and their chemistry was amazing and their roles (Rahul and Aarohi) will be remembered for ever. If it was only for the music they could have listened to the songs by just buying the album.

the movie sucked...ARK and shraddha were as interesting to watch as a brown paper bag...

heck i didnt even fall in love with the songs...an album full of slllowww songs about pyaar ka dard does not make a great album IMO...same ol same ol ghisa pita stuff...

why and how this thing became a hit, i'll never know...

The film had very good music and was unpredictable

After every accident or outburst of Aditya i thought Shradda will leave Aditya but it never happened😳

I personally think it was the ending which was a game changer for the movie. I was just blown away by it! They portrayed it in the way that it really hits you hard emotionally. And I think had Rahul not committed suicide at the end the movie would've flopped. Because if you actually look at the storyline there's nothing new or special and overall the movie is very VERY dull. But because of the tragic ending the movie and the story stayed with me for a while.

And of course music did play a huge role too which pulled the audience to the theatre. And I don't really think you can call ARK and shraddha stars as yet. Maybe "ARK's and shraddha's chemistry" would've suited the poll better.
