I agree

People loved the story as well especially youth , otherwise no film can become a HIT with hit songs only without a story. There was repeat value, that's why it did so well in the second week, third week and even fourth week.

The film wasn't a hit because of ARK of starpower but it has made him a star now and even Shraddha is a star now.

many factors, a sizzling young couple, awesome music, simple and serene story about undying love..

Aditya-shraddha were relative new comers, it was his first solo film as a lead.. so star power isnt the factor ofcourse..

but yes the couple, their chemistry and very nice acting ..

music plus intense performance from aditya roy kapoor...shradha was good but still quite amateur...but the movie was very sincere

It's so hard to get a hit tag in movies nowadays. Only hit musisc will never make a film successful - look at PPNH in recent times. It's music was excellent but the film failed. A2 did one of the biggest business in 2013 - there has to be a large bunch of favorable factors involved in it.
