Shraddha Kapoor can't stop gushing about a gift she received recently. No, it wasn't from a special someone or friend, but from a smitten fan.

"The fan painted a portrait of Shraddha and gifted it to her. She was delighted at receiving the gift, which now has a special place in her room. She has been telling all her friends and colleagues about the portrait and how it made her day," says a source close to the actress.

There's more reason for Shraddha's upbeat mood these days. Her childhood bestie recently got engaged. And as a gift to the newly engaged couple, the actress gave a special performance during the ceremony. She danced on a couple of numbers from her debut 'Aashiqui 2'. From what we hear, she lapped up much appreciation from the guests at the event.

She is currently preparing for her next Mohit Suri film, 'The Villian'.
