I dont think sushant signed any contract for fitoor either... dont remember reading that anywhere..
I remember reading somewhere that Gattu mentioned about this story to sushant way back during KPC ... and Sushant agreed then itself... There was not even any production house in the picture then... . It is only recently Gattu managed to find a producer for this film in UTV (and I think we havent got an official confirmation on that either...).. So what contract will Sushant sign..?

I am like .. super-irritated with the articles .
If anyone has to feel pissed about what has happened , it is Sushant.. more than anyone else.
He was the first to be cast.. he gave his dates for this film in October/November this year... then it got postponed to March/April ... and he had to somehow cram this in without affecting DBB which starts in Jan/Feb and Paani which starts in May/June..
And after all that, it has been again pushed to July?!

He hasnt shot for any other film after SDR and Peekay because he kept giving dates for fitoor.. who knows .. maybe he had to let go of some good movies offers because of this?

And yet.. all the articles are making it seem like he has been unprofessional or "ungrateful" .. like W*F..

I am glad Sushant's spokesperson clearly called out the fact that the movie has been postponed twice and also mentioned the months...
Like seriously, whats with making it seem like Gattu has been wronged?


Having said that, I have nothing against the choice Gattu made either... that guy has seen a lot of difficult times in his career, both as a struggling actor and a director, he has "lost" a lot of years.. stars turned down his films when he approached them.. So if he wants to make the best of this phase now post KPC success by getting the biggest names to work in his film and and make money at the BO, nothing wrong in that...

As bonne said the dates readjustment problem is because of kat shedule ...

But I think Sushant had more RIGHT over the film than kat ...

You know sushant finished SDR in march ... and then he had not signed any other film so that the dates for fitoor should not be compromised in oct ... he was sitting for 6 months ... there were many articles about how sushant kept his phone switched off and he is not reading any other scripts for the sake of films he already committed to ... But Fitoor got shifted twice to july and now clashing with his other commitments ... Still sushant requested Gattu to readjust dates which he could have easily done if he had given preference to sushant's dates over kats ...

I dont think Kat would have done this much compromise for fitoor as much as sushant ... so gattu should have care about sushant more than her ... But he cared for Kat ? because she is bigger star ... 😡

Moreover Gattu PR showing how sushant is being unprofessional ... So What had they expected from sushant to sit forever and not sign any other film even if fitoor gets delays over again and again for 2 years ... He have already wasted so much time waiting for fitoor and still Abhishek is not caring about him to try to adjust dates ... 😕 ...So for me he is as selfish as much his PR is calling sushant unprofessional ...

About giving break to sushant, then I think credit should completely given to Mukesh ... Infact if sushant had not got KPC to debut with ... he would have got any other film ... sushant received 7-8 offers before KPC ... Infact he had to let go Ashiqui 2 for KPC because of his contract with UTV ... thats what I call professionalism ...

Hope sushant turns into bigger star😊 and directors would be waiting to his dates ...😃

MS: No. He came to us, we didn't approach him. And we had already cast Aditya by then and Aditya better suited the character. Sushant is a good actor but Aditya was perfect for this role.

why ppl out here making it a big issue . Its not the 1st an actor is getting replaced ,it happens in BW . If not sushant some other actor will play it .maybe katrina could get ranbir for the role

Kat will want Ranbir, but Ranbir has no time for this film next year, unless Gattu agrees to delay the project for Ranbir. I assume one of the other younger guys would be signed.
