Sushant backs out of Fitoor, too busy!

I am somebody who has so far been quite impressed with sushant both for the two movies he has done so far and his overall conduct off screen. I like the way he has built relationships with ppl he has worked so far ...

I am a little dissapointed with this news , not because I think fitoor is the best movie to be ever made etc , as a movie has to be made and seen before we judge that ... But because abhishek was his mentor and sushant backing out of fitoor feels for want of a better word ...poor taste.

I remember seeing pictures of sushant parting with gattu and was happy to see their close bond ... His leaving fitoor would definately lead to tension between the two and things wouldn't be the same again ...its just sad for all concerned ...

Lunza, Paani starts mid-2014 (that's what YRF's website has said all year) so if the 300 days news is right, at best it will release near the end of 2015...maybe early 2016 even depending on when the post-production work finishes. Hopefully he can simultaneously shoot for something else than can come out in 2015 at least...though that's unlikely.

Bonnefille, I'm sure it has performance oriented roles. But it has to be accepted commercially too. That's how you become big in BW.
Well, Adi has put a lot at stake for Sushant and Shekhar Kapur too. Paani is how they want appeal to the West, plus it's the most expensive Indian project ever. If it doesn't do well, even YRF will lose a lot. Though I think putting al eggs in one basket is worse for Sushant than Adi. Adi can always rope in big stars to save YRF again if things go wrong. Yes there is Gowariker's film...he is also slow and I don't know if a Gowariker film is a good idea either. Basically Paani is just a big risk.

WORD to what you said and especially the bold part. More than Sushant not doing the film I am upset about how Gattu seems to be really pissed with him and the way the first article spoke about the whole situation. Sushant seems to have been trapped in a catch 22 situation, two times film has been pushed back, all he has is a verbal commitment whereas for Paani he must have already signed a contract. It would have been easier to back out from Fitoor than Paani.

This is all so sucky. And here I was so excited about the movie. Like Bonne I too am hoping for a miracle and Sushant to be back, but that is too much to expect I guess.

Most probably Amit Sadh (to throw the 'loyalty' factor on Sushant's face + Gattu wanted to work with all 3 KPC boys again + Amit is lobbying around for projects) or ARK will be signed. I have a feeling it will be ARK since he isn't doing many projects right now and is considered a promising newcomer enough to make Kat say yes to him.

I don't think the 300 days news is true. That would mean that the film will finish by mid 2015 only. Sushant on the other hand said he is booked till the end of this year.

Even though he is an ass,his news are unfortunately usually reliable.😆😆 He flopped the whole BB7 intro episode by giving out 100% correct names, his predictions are mostly right too.

yeah right Mohit lied 🥱.. d days when Aditya was announced as d male lead, those times Sushant was still to sign his film..

m not syaing u r lying or nething against sushant.. but its also possible that its only a PR gimmick..

many guys from TV did audition for A2 but neither got selected, so its also possible dat sushant is one of them..

but alas, he wasnt offered d role.. it was always Aditya who was offered it after the failure of d audtions and later there was no turn back..

Actually the source who gave this news was reliable plus he gave other news along with it as well, YRF wanting to sign him, his contract with UTV etc. All proved to be true later.

I read an interview of the Bhatts saying they casted the leads through casting directors? In that case Sushant might have been considered/shortlisted, but backed out prematurely bcos of his contract with UTV. This would suit versions of both that article as well as Mohit Suri.

very much possible.. i really dont have so much knowledge about the precasting stages of A2, but whatever knowledge i have, i have read and heard that there were many bunch of guys nd girls auditioning for the film, many known ones from TV , but Bhatts cudnt get there desired lead pair, and then they dismissed d hunt .. and later Aditya & Shraddha happened..

nevertheless, be it KPC or A2, both r successful films and have given a recognition to their lead actors and at the end thats d only thing which matters..
