hey dear pls dont call him selfish. He gave a break to sushant in bollywood and acted as his mentor. If sushant is not be blamed then abhishek cant be blamed also. He signed sushant for d movie but if sushant other movie dates get clash with his he have right to respond na! But sushant cant be blamed also but he should take care of such things in future. It can affect his career in wrong way

You make no sense at all.

fitoor is not a exact copy of the book, it is just inspired by the book and it is a love story so katrina's character is as important as the male character.

2ndly Abhishek was new back then and wasn't known so he made such excuses, you can't judge him for that. in this industry you always have to portray yourself as good as possible he probably was showcased as someone who couldn't get to work with big stars hence defended himself back then.

and it's absurd to call him selfish.

Sushant has signed a CONTRACT, he came and demanded changes after contract being signed Guttu could refuse him and tell him that he has to do his movie no matter what but no he didn't make it a legal case he let Sushant decide to do Fitoor as planned or choose Paani in stead of it and he chose Paani.

I think sushant and guttu are still friends and there is no bad tension between them, they ended the deal in a friendly way.

I would not blame Abhishek either as Sushant too chose Shekhar Kapur over him because he is a more reputed director. Just like Shekhar is the bigger star-director over Abhishek, Katrina is bigger star-actor over Sushant. They both chose what suited them best. I just wished Sushant could do both the films, but things have not really worked out for him. I just hope there is no bad blood between Sushant and Abhishek, and hopefully they do work in future. And yes, I do hope Sushant attains so much success as an actor and as a star that directors bend their backs to have him in their films. I am still hoping that by some divine intervention Sushant still gets to do both the films. That's just the optimistic me!

The thing about mentors is most of them expect you to move heaven and earth to accommodate them when they want because they gave you that break. Eventually there's only so much you can do. Gattu could have been a little nicer and simply said I can't move dates because Katrina isn't free, rather than your easily replaceable if you want new dates. But at the end of the day, it's not really anyone's fault. Simply bad luck.

😊ady, I am in a very disappointed mood 😔... I dont know what to say right now 😭...

As bonne said the dates readjustment problem is because of kat shedule ...

But I think Sushant had more RIGHT over the film than kat ...

You know sushant finished SDR in march ... and then he had not signed any other film so that the dates for fitoor should not be compromised in oct ... he was sitting for 6 months ... there were many articles about how sushant kept his phone switched off and he is not reading any other scripts for the sake of films he already committed to ... But Fitoor got shifted twice to july and now clashing with his other commitments ... Still sushant requested Gattu to readjust dates which he could have easily done if he had given preference to sushant's dates over kats ...

I dont think Kat would have done this much compromise for fitoor as much as sushant ... so gattu should have care about sushant more than her ... But he cared for Kat ? because she is bigger star ... 😡

Moreover Gattu PR showing how sushant is being unprofessional ... So What had they expected from sushant to sit forever and not sign any other film even if fitoor gets delays over again and again for 2 years ... He have already wasted so much time waiting for fitoor and still Abhishek is not caring about him to try to adjust dates ... 😕 ...So for me he is as selfish as much his PR is calling sushant unprofessional ...

About giving break to sushant, then I think credit should completely given to Mukesh ... Infact if sushant had not got KPC to debut with ... he would have got any other film ... sushant received 7-8 offers before KPC ... Infact he had to let go Ashiqui 2 for KPC because of his contract with UTV ... thats what I call professionalism ...

Hope sushant turns into bigger star😊 and directors would be waiting to his dates ...😃

No sushant was not in contract with Gattu ... He was in contract with UTV for 2 film deal such that he can do any another PH film if his second film with UTV doesnot go to floors before Jan 2013 ...

And thats happened ... he can now sign outside PH movies ...

Just wanted to correct this info you have about Ashiqui2. SSR didnt let go of A2...he wasnt chosen for it.

BOI: Is it true that Sushant Singh Rajput had initially been approached for Aditya's character?

MS: No. He came to us, we didn't approach him. And we had already cast Aditya by then and Aditya better suited the character. Sushant is a good actor but Aditya was perfect for this role.
