BOSS Had Good Day At Box Office

''Boss'' did not open as per expectations on holiday but many trade experts and audience do not realize that yesterday was not a national holiday but was partial holiday. Film was seen through tinted mirror at box office but day two proved that this is not going through the drain.

Film managed 14.35 cr nett on day one which was not great considering marketing and release. Film was super strong on day three in single screens and north heartland pushed the film in safe zone. But then film was hurt badly by poor show in multiplexes as was the case yesterday.

As per early estimates, film should collect close to 8.25-8.50 cr nett on day three taking total to 30.60 cr nett which is good but not great. Good news is that film did not fall badly like OUATIMD and "Besharam". But now film has to show good jumps in next two days in order to cross 50-55 cr nett.

Below are the collection for the film -

Boss is in 11th postion as far opening three day collections are concerned. The figures were less than once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara but more than Special 26. Below are the highest collecting weekends of the year.

Boss Third Day Business

Boss dropped on its third day as business in single screens came down from there good levels on day one and day two. The film grossed around 5.50-5.75 crore nett as per early estimates on Friday taking the three day business to around 25 crore nett.

A 25 crore nett total is a below the mark for the first three days but there is Saturday and Sunday to come which can take the film to a more respectable 40 crore nett over five days if the expected weekend growth comes. A 45 crore nett total looked possible after day two but the Friday business came down.

The business on Friday held up better at multiplexes but that was more too do with the low levels on the first two days.
