Akshay Kumar's latest masala flick Boss has opened rather well at the box office. While the film has its comic moments and action packed sequences, we decided to read between the lines and figure out what Boss really taught us.

Power plant redefined: A power plant is no more just an energy generating system, in fact it's a plant that manages to not just grow but even blossom under the harshest circumstances with just a few drops of sweat from the brow of the Boss.

No action without music: Boss cannot fight the baddies without live music and cheerleaders.

Boss is an inventor: He invented an all season mobile human rocking chair.

Dawn of the multipurpose Truck: While we have vehicles being developed to cater to specific needs of commuters and consumers, one vehicle that stands above the rest, is the TRUCK. It's the one vehicle that can serve as a five star coffee shop, a honeymoon suite, portable sunroof and even a 'jogging truck' for Boss.

Teleportation has arrived: Though usually we witness multiple costume changes during a song sequence in any Bollywood potboiler, in Boss we witness instant teleportation. Case in point being newbie Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari's song sequence that features a jump for the latter's bedroom straight to a yacht somewhere in South East Asia and back into the bedroom when her brother Ronit Roy arrives.

Bas kya teacher: A school teacher will always see fault in his own son, no matter how sincere his son is.

New comers are a pain: Not all of us may think the same let, but Boss doesn't seem to mind expressing his disdain for newbie actors who seem to constantly forget their lines always.

ICU...no thanks: Even today, a father hanging between life and death in an ICU will definitely manage to show up to witness the climax fight where his son, the hero, is beating the shit out of the villain.
