Q. Which film will be the biggest grosser out of Once Upon A Time Of Mumbai Dobaara, Besharam, Satyagraha and Boss?

A. Time will tell. The best of the lot you mentioned in Once Upon A Time Of Mumbai Dobaara at 58.50 crore nett and it remains to be seen if Boss tops that.

Q. Boss had everything going for it like Super hype, super hit music, good word of mouth and a holiday so why did it still not do well?

A. The plusses you have mentioned are made into plusses by some for perception rather than actually being the truth. The word of mouth was mixed while music was successful but not the sort of success that helps with initial. If super hit music and super hype was there with good word of mouth the film would have been unstoppable. Nevertheless it should have opened to 14-15 crore which would have been fair opening day collections but it was not to be.

Boss had low collections on Monday as it collected 2.75 crore nett taking its total to 40.75 crore nett. The film will collect around 43 crore nett in seven days and around 47 crore nett in its extended first week. Despite getting a good price for TV and being sold for fair prices wherever sold it will still struggle for recovery for both the makers and distributors. The first six day figures of Boss are as follows.

Wednesay - 12,00,00,000

Thursday - 7,40,00,000

Friday - 5,60,00,000

Saturday - 5,75,00,000

Sunday - 7,25,00,000

Monday - 2,75,00,000

TOTAL - 40,75,00,000

i think even repetitive pairing of akshay and sonakshi bored d ppl nd thus d film flopped..
i mean, comeon, every film sonakshi has to butt in nd do dance numbers wid akki, its kinda repetitive now, nd also whats so new in prabhudeva butting in also ?
so its good that d film flopped, i hope nw akki realises dat where did he go wrong..
he shud not do a film wid sonakshi now in next 5 years plss.. already nd overdose of d couple ...

M so happy thoug dat S26 came this year nd went onto become a hit, dat shows dat Akki still has much starpower, but he is just doing repetitive stuffs, a project wid smthing different from him, he will be back again..

6th Day Monday Box Office Collection Of Boss

''''Boss'''' had met with its fate on Monday with collections coming down drastically all over and despite 5 day holiday boosted weekend, this one looks to be another big disappointment for Akshay Kumar fans.

BOSS Falls Flat On Monday

Film managed only 3 cr nett on Monday which was again fall of 50% or so that too from low figures of Friday. Film has collected only 43 cr nett in 6 days and extended week one of 9 days will end around 48-49 cr nett.

As of now film looks to struggle to touch even 60 cr nett which should had been the weekend total. Flop!
