When Rani Mukherjee turned down the title role in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Begum Samru, it certainly came as a surprise to industry watchers. The actress has apparently cited date issues as the reason for nixing the project, but we now hear that it may not be another film that Rani needs to keep her schedule free for.

The buzz in B-town is that the real reason Rani opted out of Begum Samru is because she is all set to tie the knot with Aditya Chopra in the first half of 2014. Now Begum Samru was supposed to be Rani's big comeback but she chose to focus on her upcoming nuptials instead, shared our sources. Friends of the actress too have been dropping hints that Rani will don her bridal outfit early next year.
Fans of the Black actress may be sad about not seeing her in another a powerhouse part, par jab mia-biwi raazi, toh... get the drift?
